you and miles have been married for 3 years, you live in a little house in liverpool together with your dog, maxie.

it's a very sunny day today and you're both sat outside in the back garden on the patio couch. your head is resting on his shoulder with your eyes closed as it's so bright. maxie is curled up on the couch too next to miles.

you cuddle up closer to him and you say softly "i love you, baby.."

he wraps his arms tightly around you, holding you close to him. his heart is filled with so much love and adoration for you. he tilts his head slightly to gently kiss the top of your head. his voice is soft and sweet as he says "i love you too, doll. more than words can say."

you smile and cuddle closer to him. as it's such a sunny day, you ask him "do you wanna go to the cafe for lunch?"

he smiles and says "yeah, that sounds great, i'm starving." he gently kisses the top of your head again before standing up. you stand up too, and just as you both stand up, maxie jumps up too and runs inside.

he chuckles as maxie runs inside and he follows after him. you go back inside too and put your shoes on while you're waiting for miles to put maxie's lead on.

he clips maxie's lead onto his collar and he opens the front door and walks out with you while holding your hand, maxie trotting ahead. as you're both walking, he says "do you wanna get ice cream after?"

"please, it's bloody boiling." you say, still holding his hand as you both walk.

he chuckles and says "it is, isn't it? we'll get ice cream after." you continue walking to the cafe, enjoying the sunshine and each other's company, and the sound of maxie's excited barks.

you two get to the cafe and sit at a little table outside. maxie sits beneath the table, looking up at you both, and the waitress comes over to take your order. miles gets a cheese toastie and a beer, you get a tuna panini and a coke, and you get some sausages for maxie too.

once the waitress has gone, you pick up maxie and cuddle him in your lap, stroking his short, fluffy white fur. miles smiles and watches you with maxie, looking so happy and content. he notices how beautiful you look in the sunlight and how your hair shines with the highlights of the afternoon. he reaches out and gently brushes a stray hair behind your ear, his hand lingering on your skin.

you smile at him, and the waitress comes back with the drinks and you both thank her. you take a sip of your coke, still cuddling maxie in your lap. he takes a sip of his beer and you two share a comfortable silence. he reaches over and scratches maxie behind the ear, making him wag his tail.

the waitress comes back with the food and you both thank her again. you take a bite of your tuna panini and then ask him "which place do you wanna go for ice cream after?"

he thinks for a moment, then says "how about the one by the beach? we can take maxie down on the sand afterwards too." he takes a bite of his cheese toastie.

you smile and say "yeah, really nice lady in there too. and i wanna go in the water." the waitress comes back again with a little plate of sausages for maxie and you thank her. you put the plate on the floor for maxie and set him down so he can eat them.

he watches as you set maxie down and let him eat his sausages, a small smile on his face. he takes another sip of his beer and says "sounds like a plan." he leans back in his chair, looking relaxed and happy.

you take another bite of your tuna panini and you both share a comfortable silence, just enjoying the sunshine. he keeps a fond, loving gaze on you, admiring how beautiful you are. he finds himself smiling from just looking at you.
