~Vihaansh's Pov.~

I was sleeping peacefully until a horrible ringing noise jolted me awake. Groggy and disoriented, I struggled to identify the source of the sound. As I sat up, my eyes finally landed on my phone which was ringing. Confusion washed over me-I hadn't set an alarm. Strange.

I clicked the off button on the phone and then reached out for the water jug on the table beside my bed. It's my habit to drink water as soon as I wake up. My eyes were still half-closed, and my mind was focused on one thing: water. I poured myself a glass, took a big gulp, and my eyes flew open instantly.

"Ugh!" I spat out the water, coughing and sputtering. "What the-? Who put salt and chili in the water jug?"

Shaking my head, I muttered to myself about the need to tell my mom about this bizarre prank. I headed to the bathroom to wash away the unpleasant taste. As I splashed water on my face, I felt a strange, smooth sensation on my skin. Looking up into the mirror, I was shocked.

My face was covered in makeup, applied beautifully and meticulously, though now slightly ruined from the water. But if I had washed my face, why didn't the makeup come off?

"Who the hell did this?" I whispered to my reflection.

Realization hit me like a ton of bricks, while washing the makeup with water, "Oh no, don't tell me it's waterproof?"

"Holy shit!"

Panic set in as I realized the implications. "Now how can I remove it? Should I try washing it with water again?"

I contemplated my options for a few minutes, then decided to give it another go. I splashed more water and soap on my face, scrubbing for a few more seconds but the makeup didn't budge. Frustrated, I grabbed the towel near the basin and started to wipe my face dry.

When I looked back into the mirror, my shock deepened. The makeup, though slightly smeared, was still intact, but now my face was covered in a layer of white powder. "What the hell... Who's the genius behind this? Or wait, don't tell me she did this?"

Standing there, dumbfounded, I tried to piece together who could have done this. First, the phone alarm with that horrible ring. Then salt and chili in a water jug, after that the makeup which is done so perfectly and last but not least the powder in the towel.

Wait... Did Gadhi do this? Because except for her and Dhruv, no one knows my phone password. My habit of drinking water is also known by my family and Dhriti. My sister couldn't pull off this makeup so perfectly, plus if she did then she wouldn't bother with the powder trick.

That means...

"Ooo Gadhedi, Where the hell are you?" I yelled while walking downstairs in anger.

(Ooo Donkey [Gadhedi is used for females])

When no response came, I shouted louder, I know she is here only, "Today you are gone, Miss Dhriti Reyansh Singh Solanki."

Di turned around, startled, "What happened...?" Her eyes widened in shock for 15 seconds before bursting into manic laughter.

And behind her stood that Gadhi, the mastermind. She tried to suppress her laugh pretending innocence, but her shifty eyes gave her away. The moment our eyes met, she bolted, and I started to chase her around the house.

In due time, Mom came out. "What happened, Vi... Why are you guys running?" she asked, not yet noticing my face.

And along with her, another voice also came, "Why are you shouting Vihaansh..... And running?".
