Kararating niyo lang sa bahay nang nagulat ka nung narinig mong binalibag ni Jhoanna yung pintuan noong pumasok siya, it made you jump and a gasp escaping your lips
You turned around to face her as you took off your shoes slowly, trying to be careful so that your stomach wouldn't hurt more
"Ano bang problema mo?" Jho asked you as she took off her jacket and hung it up
"Ni hindi ka manlang umimik sa sasakyan nung pauwi tayo eh" Jho said
"I'm sorry, love, I just--" You got cut off when Jhoanna spoke
"We went to a romantic dinner tonight, and I barely tried to converse with you on the way home, and you completely ignored me. You barely spoke more than one word to me since we left the restaurant!" Jhoanna said
"I wasn't ignoring you mahal" You said
"Hindi ka nga umiimik, ni hindi mo nga ako kinausap kahit isang salita wala eh!" Jhoanna said as she sighed and took off her shoes at itinabi ito
You groaned and started walking towards the stairs, only making her more frustrated.
"Wait, don't just walk away, Y/n!" Jhoanna said as she folded her arms over her chest
"Let's talk this out like adults" Jhoanna said
"Jho, Wala ako sa mood para dyan" You explained, biting your lip over the pain in your stomach.
"Seriously, Y/n? After the fantastic night that we just had, Hindi mo ba ieexplain sakin what could I possibly do or wrong to make you upset" Jhoanna said
"I'm not upset, Jhoanna. If anyone is acting upset, ikaw yun Jho" You argued back as you turned around to look at her from the first step.
"I'm sorry I didn't talk to you on the way home because I-i basta! I don't feel good"
Her heart sank as she heard you confess you weren't feeling well.
Her anger and frustration instantly faded away, and a frown appeared on her face as she walked to you to get closer.
"Why? Ano problema mahal? You don't feel good?" Jhoanna asked you
"Yes" You said weakly, clutching at your stomach
"Anong masakit love?" Jhoanna asked you
"My stomach hurts, and nahihilo na rin ako I feel like I'm going to throw up" You said
"Baka naman na food poison ka," Jhoanna said sadly, thinking of your forehead to check for a cold. Hopefully not, just to be safe
"Okay, let's get you up to bed" Jhoanna said as she helped you stand up
You slowly walked up the stairs, her hand remaining on the small of your back the entire time
You walked into the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed as Jhoanna grabbed a bucket for you; in case you get sick, you won't have to rush to the bathroom. She also grabbed you a pair of your coziest pajama bottoms as well as one of her shirts that is your favorite because it's cozy, so you could change out your clothes and into something more comfortable than what you are wearing now. She helped you undress, being as careful as she could as she helped you pull the shirt over your head
"Okay, my Love. Higa kana at kukumutan kita, Bawal ka muna mag cellphone and get some rest muna" Jhoanna said
"Ito naman parang nanay" Y/N said
"Anong sabi mo?" Jhoanna bickers
"Wala po kamahalan, masusunod po ang utos niyo" sabi ko
You did what she said, lying your back against the mattress before she pulled the covers over your body, pulling it up to your shoulder
"Okay ka lang ba? Is it warm enough?" Jhoanna asked you as you nodded back to her. She asked you that before she lay down beside you
"If you need anything, my love, I'll get it for you. If you feel sick, tell me, okay? I'll hold your hair back for you" Jhoanna said
"Love, may kailangan ako." sabi ko
"Ano yun?" tanong ni Jho
"Kiss."
"Ito naman parang sira, nahihilo na nga lumalandi pa" sabi ni Jho
"Ay ganon, edi ayaw mo na sa kiss ko?" pang-asar na tanong ni Y/n
"HALA BABY WALA NAMAN AKONG SINABING GANYAN" oa na sagot ni Jho
"Eh bakit ka defensive?"
"Nagjojoke lang eh, lika kiss na kita" sabi ni Jhoanna
"Thank you. Love" You said as you closed your eyes, and she kissed you
"I feel like it's only a matter of time until that happens, so l appreciate it" You said as She cracked a sad smile while she brushed her fingers across your cheeks
"I'm sorry nakipag away pa ako sayo earlier mahal. Bakit hindi mo sinabi sakin agad na hindi pala maganda pakiramdam mo?" Sabi niya
"Akala ko magiging okay lang me agad, Ayoko rin naman mag worry ka, overthinker ka pa naman" You said
"Malamang mahal mag-aalala talaga ako natural. You are my girl, and it's my responsibility to take care of you. Sorry sa kanina, I love you" Jhoanna said to you, and you looked at her
"Mas mahal kita, Jho. Don't worry too much about me; Okay na yun, you are already forgiven" You said
She smiled at you before kissing your forehead
"I love you a lot, my love. Sleep kana. Para mas gumaling kana agad and magkaroon ng energy go go" Jhoanna said and cuddled you
"Thank you again, mahal" You said as you started to fall asleep in her arms, the brush of her fingers against your cheeks bringing you comfort
