Daiya is a black African woman and is a long distant relative of a family from Della. Her family contacted her this week and asked if she could visit so they could spend time with her because of how long she was away for.
So Daiya is packing her bags inside of her bedroom to take out for her Train trip, and it's about 5, four more hours before the train 150 takes off.As she was packing she sees a old ripped up picture frame of her grandfather "Joesse" who was the top engineer of RetroArch once before he got into a accident; killed by his own creation. She sighs to herself not trying to bring up the deeper reason of her Grandfather Joesse death. She would stand up and put the framed picture on her right bed side table pointed up at her, as she looks into the eyes of her Grandad.
Til' she gets a notification of her ride to the train station is outside. She hurry her bags on her back and chased out of her bedroom closing the door behind her. The door opens slightly as she leaves down stairs leaving the remnants of dust behind her trail.
She shrugs her way outside her one floor house and waves at the taxi drive "Dave".
He would step out of the vehicle and come around the front to help her bags. "Oh, Thanks, but I got it", she stutters as he already took a bag to the backseat as she puts the rest with it resting flat. Dave is already in the Vehicle, "Come on, Get a move on!" Dave playfully exclaimed shutting the drivers door.
"Whatever, it's not like your going to this trip" Daiya sighs getting in the passenger seat and putting her seat belt on, having a little struggle but she managed to click in.
Dave looks over to her and ask, "So, where's the place I cant drive you that the train can?", he chuckles after.
"Well a lot of places, you're a city boy" Daiya snickers, but Dave scoffs with a smug grin and drives him and her off out of the city to the train station.
As they are on the road; "about that city boy, I'm actually moving back to the country side."; Dave implied. Daiya left brow lower with a sly smile, "you need me to bring a Guitar when I come back" she pushes him laughing a small bit till her tone is back in exchange to his location, "who's gonna pick me up when your not here?"."hm, well a billion others can drive you, I'm not the only guy you drove with" he rise his brows at her then eye back at the road.
"Billa was a weird guy, so it was just one time, and besides you wasn't working that day" Daiya explains to him..
Dave shrugged and shook his head to her; "I will agree on that, he a weird fella' but hey that day was a bad day". Daiya put her elbow on the window rim and her knuckle pressing her cheek looking over at him since she still in the conversation, "we all have bad days and good days, but one thing about it", She sits up with her eyes still on him. "We looking for good things and bad days to make good days exist". Daiya quotes, Dave looks at her with admiration and back to the road with a coy smile. "yeah, I believe that" he said warmly to her feeling elevated by her response.
The Drive took a few but Two hours a trip and as Dave drove up to the train station before getting out and he calls out Daiya name, "Ay Daiya, its Davey time!" He exclaims as Daiya moved out of the passenger seat after clawing at him playfully "oh shut up Dave!" She says back. Daiya gets her bags with Dave and he follows Daiya to the counter, he stands behind and ends up eyeing his phone as Daiya steps up to the booth at a man named Issac. "hey sir, I'm for Train 150", Daiya asked before reaching for her pockets to pull out her ticket to the man.
The Man "Issac", replies "Ah yes, Train 150..the lucky train." He says with zest.
Dave looks up at Issac with a confused expression before looking back at his phone not even trying to cut in.
"Oh the lucky train? It can take seconds to get me down where I live?", Daiya suggests placing her arms on the counter intrigued.
"it depends where you live, the trip is a journey but you place it how you wanta', but..." Issac pauses taking the ticket she offers to him and stash it in the back and came back to the booth to finish. "But, just know that it'll be a quick route to a heavenly trip" he implies after.
Daiya leans back from the counter, "well, if you say so, I'm going regardless".
"Mhm, your train is about to catch a flight of speed, so you better catch it" Issac suggests brushing his hands with each other.
Daiya looks over at Dave and nod her head to head on, so Dave follows Daiya toward train 150.Daiya steps in as Dave gave her the rest of the bags she had. "Be safe out there, don't go off rails", Dave chuckles.
"Hopefully not, but maybe your vehicle with you is down in those tracks if the train breaks down" she chuckles with after heading inside with her bags.
Dave salute her off, "one seat, and it's for you, I'll prioritize when you get back!" Dave shouts as the train start to leave down the path of what's to come.
