Ben Beast, Crown Prince of Auradon and son of King Adam and Queen Belle had been experiencing mysterious dreams since the day he turned thirteen. Each night, as he drifted into the realm of sleep, he found himself in a vivid dream that was both enchanting and perplexing. In these dreams, he encountered a girl of unparalleled beauty—her long, strawberry-blonde hair cascading like a waterfall down her back, and her dark green eyes sparkling with a depth that seemed to draw him in. Her features were so distinct, so vivid, that Ben felt as though he knew her intimately. Yet, every morning he awoke with a lingering sense of confusion, unable to place her face among the countless citizens of Auradon whom he had met over the years. He knew everyone in the kingdom, or so he thought, and yet this enigmatic girl eluded his memory and understanding.

As the years passed, the dreams became more frequent and more detailed. Ben found himself yearning for the moments when sleep would transport him to the dream world where he could be with her. Ben's heart ached with a strange mixture of joy and sorrow each time he awoke, the girl's image fading like mist in the morning sun.

Far away from the bustling kingdom of Auradon, in the Isle of the Lost, lived Emery Beaux, the daughter of The Enchantress. Emery's life was one of isolation, spent within the enchanted boundaries of her home, a place where time seemed to stand still and magic thrummed in the very air. Since she turned thirteen, Emery too had been visited by recurring dreams, dreams that brought her face to face with a handsome boy who seemed to exist only in her imagination. His messy brown hair framed a face of striking handsomeness, and his bright blue eyes shone with a kindness and warmth that made her heart flutter.

In her dreams, Emery and the boy shared a connection that was instant and deep. They would wander through their dreams that seemed to be drawn from the pages of a fairy tale. Each dream left her with a sense of longing and a bittersweet ache, for Emery had never left her home, and she couldn't understand why she would be dreaming of someone she had never met. The boy was as much a mystery to her as the dreams themselves.
