It's been about two weeks since my encounter with Y/N. I've seen her around a few times near our campus, she seemed normal and bubbly as always-- it was annoying.
Honestly, that night felt unreal. It didn't feel like I was in control of my own body, maybe the alcohol was the one taking over. Though, I did enjoy her touch and how she felt inside.
I never saw Y/N in that light but that night definitely changed my perspective. I was always protective over her because I know how guys talk and act when girls aren't around, it disgusts me.
But would I be lying if I said it wasn't for my own selfish reasons? I'm still unsure about that now.
After all, she's my childhood best friend and I can't have her leave me.
I finally called up Armin after ignoring his messages for a week. I was too busy playing the new release of a new game so I didn't feel like being social. I know he doesn't mind because I've always been like this since we were kids.
"Hey," I said through the phone
"How have you been Eren? In your room for the last two weeks?" Armin let out a soft chuckle. He could always read my moods without even being next to me. We were like the chaotic/calm duo.
He was my other half.
"Yeah the new release came out, I was trying to beat it"
"You're gonna have to let me try it out!" His excitement leaked through the phone
"Armin, I have a something to say"
I wanted to let Armin know what went on with me and Y/N because maybe he could tell me what I'm afraid to admit to myself. He replied with a small mhm and I took in a deep breath.
"Y/N and I had sex the night of the dinner."
The silence was loud, almost as if he was scolding me from the other side.
"Oh...Really?"
Armin didn't seem as bubbly as before. His voice grew into a worried tone like he was...nervous?
"Yeah, I don't know where to go from here." The thought was driving me insane.
"Aren't Jean and her a thing? but you still hooked up with her?"
It's like his question ignited a flame in my body. I began to grow mad at that stupid ass thought. Jean and Y/N? As if she would give that horse-faced motherfucker a chance.
"Why do you say that?"
"Nevermind! I shouldn't have said anything"
I hated when Armin went back on his words. All it did was drive me to be more curious. If he didn't want me to cross a boundary, he should've never brought it up.
"You can't go back now Armin. What are you hiding?" I grew aggravated. Nothing serious would've happened in two weeks right? Especially not a relationship between those two.
"I heard from Annie that Jean confessed to Y/N the day after dinner."
The day after? The day after we fucked? They hung out and that fucker decided it was a good moment? If Jean confessed, it was definitely only two of them together. Why would they even be hanging out alone?
I thought the moment me and Y/N shared would turn into something- but to her it was just another one of her hookups.
I would be lying if I said it didn't feel like a knife stabbed me in the chest, but what did I expect. Y/N and I never had that sort of relationship going on to begin with.
We were drunk one night and that was it. Did I want to makeup for the fact that she caught me in a vulnerable moment? Maybe. But I still enjoyed it nonetheless.
"How does your little girlfriend know" I shouldn't jump to conclusions. It could just be a rumor.
"Uhm...Annie heard from Reiner who heard from Connie"
Straight from Jean's right-hand man. Fuck, so it is true.
"What did she say?" I scratched the back of my head
"We don't know"
I muttered a thanks over the phone and hung up after. She really went on a date with Jean after the night we had? Was it even a date? I couldn't believe the words Armin spoke, even with it coming from different people- I needed to see it for myself, but how?
My phone buzzed shortly after, indicating a message had came through. I picked it up and saw that it was Armin.

If it makes you feel better. I think Jean got rejected...I know you care for her.
I also wanted to tell you there's a party at Annie's tonight, clear your head.
