Reston's touch was like a lullaby, soft and soothing, as he caressed my head and hair. I drifted in and out of sleep under his gentle ministrations. He woke me briefly for dinner, feeding me wheat noodles and chicken, then lulling me back to sleep in his lap. For the first time, my reality was sweeter than my dreams. Throughout the night, I felt his hands on my head and arms, heard his whispered words through my heavy sleep giving me a burst of endorphins mid sleep. He stayed awake, keeping his touch gentle and constant, making sure I stayed in a peaceful slumber.

Every time I stirred, trying to fully wake, his caresses pulled me back into the depths of sleep. When morning came, I awoke in his lap to the sight of a small chocolate cupcake with a candle on the side table. Reston lit the candle, and I smiled before I even had a chance to yawn or stretch. I blew it out and offered him the first bite.

After brushing my teeth and taking a quick shower, I finished my cupcake while he was in his room, I slipped into a baby pink lace dress. My mom wasn't home, but she had messaged me. When I saw Reston, I was about to braid my hair but he didn't let me. Freedom from that uncomfortable ridge on the back of my skull was nice for a change. Reston mentioned that he and Emerald were taking me out, so I joined him and we headed to the Stanford Mall garden.

Throughout the day, Reston and Emerald showered me with gifts, despite my protests.
Books, stationery, dresses, gym clothes-anything they fancied, they picked up and paid for. It was a whirlwind of generosity that left me feeling both overwhelmed and deeply touched. Their constant chatter and laughter made it the sweetest day of my life.

We ended up at a cozy café bar for brunch, where we shared pizzas and desserts, laughing and talking endlessly. Reston kept my hand in his, even on top of the table, while Emerald's touch on my thigh sent shivers through me. The bittersweetness of the moment was almost too much to bear. I wished I could freeze time and stay in this bubble of happiness forever, but I knew that wasn't possible.

Emerald slyly slipped me a few sips of his cocktail when I asked, and while I felt a pleasant buzz, I didn't get drunk. The whole day had a breezy, soft quality to it, with a blue sky and a sense of peace that felt almost too good to be true. It was as if the universe had given me one last merciful day before everything fell apart.

The sexual tension that simmered throughout the day was palpable, but the warmth and affection from both boys were what truly stood out. It was the best day of my life, a day filled with love, laughter, and a sense of belonging that I had never experienced before.

When we reached our house, Reston unloaded all the things they bought me and stepped inside. Emerald picked me up effortlessly and placed me on the backseat of the car, his presence looming as he stood between my legs with the door open. His hand suddenly grabbed my jaw, pulling me into the most intense kiss I had ever experienced. I instinctively clutched his shirt. His lips crashed against mine with a fierce, demanding urgency, his tongue exploiting my mouth with a wild, dominating force that left me breathless. I didn't understand and I didn't want to. I just wanted to accept his parting gift.
