CHAPTER 08

I was spacing out inside his car after what he said, sino naman Kayang nakakuha Ng attention netong lalaking to eh parang Wala naman Kaseng pakialam to sa Mundo eh.

I was leaning on my seat while looking outside the window, when I suddenly fell asleep.

Nagising na lang Ako Ng Hindi na umaandar Yung sasakyan, I looked to my side and I noticed that Xander wasn't in the car anymore.

I was about to open the car door and looked for Xander outside when I saw him approaching the car with some paper bag on his hands na may logo Ng Popeyes shocksss bigla akong nakaramdam Ng gutom, Popeyes is actually my comfort food fav ko talga Yan ever since Lalo na Yung fries nila but limited lang din Ako nakakakain nyan since tinitipid ko Yung allowance ko.

Xander opened the car door of the driver seat, nagulat pa nga Nung Nakita nya Kong nakatingin sakanya but then he turned again to his usual serious expression.

You did not eat lunch yet. He said while he put the paper bag on the backseat and the drinks to the cup holder between us, then he started again the engine of he's car and drove off.

Where are we going again? I said, di pa ba tapos.

We're going to eat lunch somewhere. He said

Saan nga?? I asked again, kanina pa Kase kami andito sa kotse di pa Rin kami nakakarating sa sinasabi nyang somewhere na yann.

You'll know. He said while he's still looking in the road.

Minutes later, xander parked the car and got outside so lumabas na din Ako I looked around and I saw the grass field and trees everywhere. Yung parang pwede Kang mag picnic ganun it 's like a big garden with a little pond and I noticed na Meron ding small house sa gilid.

I was so amused at the place because it's been a long time when i felt this kind of feeling again no harm,no pain, just peace and quiet.

Nature really heals me everytime, I don't know but when it comes to nature I feel like I'm safe, it's like a comfort place for me.

I was smiling while looking around when I noticed xander's looking at me, I looked at him and asked where are we??

We're at my mom's garden house he said, oh! Kaya Pala walang tao.

I often come here when everything's a messed he said, oh so it's like his comfort place Pala.

I nodded and smile at him Thanks, for bringing me here. He nodded

let's eat? He said then got to back of his car and may kinuha Syang parang sapin dun then he walked towards the grass field, I smiled I didn't know he had this side.

I followed him then nilatag na namin Yung sapin sa grass then place our food on it and we sat down, we both are looking at the field admiring the beauty of nature.

Why did you bring me here i asked

He looked at me and said  The nurse told me that you need to rest and get out of stress so I figured nature would probably help you.

I smiled at him and said  thank youu, your right nature is my comfort it calms me everytime. I said and looked at him and he  nodded, inayos nya na Yung food namin then we both started eating.

Minutes passed and I could say we got along I think, well I started talking some random things para naman may pag usapan kami awkward naman kung mag titigan lang kami no.

I was just talking random things to him while eating and he just listened to me and and sometime answer if i have a question to him but limited lang mga sinasabi nya, but then I started to get comfortable towards him.

He made me happy today like genuinely, and for a moment I forget all the things that pained me, and all the stressful things that happened this past few Days.

I was happy to see this side of him, like who would've thought that the almighty Beau Alexander Salvador was seating in the grass field with a girl  he just met  yesterday and yet he was listening to some random things running through her head.

I didn't thought you're like this i said

Like what?? He asked with his forehead creased, he was leaning while his hand was supporting him at the back

Like this, you know Akala ko Kase kagaya ka nila Chaze who likes partying and drinking alcohol. I said pinakita Kase ni Allen samin Yung social media ni chaze since Yung tatlo naka private, we stalked Chaze social media account and saw that he always like partying and going out with different girls Kaya Akala ko ganun din sya.

You really shouldn't judge someone you barely know elizea. He said seriously.

Your Right, I'm sorry. I said

Well Chaze and kaio they are the ones who's really into partying, nadadamay lang kami ni iñigo. He said then he suddenly lay down and closed his eyes.

I stopped bugging him, baka Kase napagod mag drive kawawa naman, I just took my phone and started taking pictures again, I take a picture of our meal pa nga kanina eh pinigilan ko Muna si Xander Nung akmang kakain na sya and he glared at me but he still let's me to take a picture of our meal.

When I got satisfied sa mga pictures na nakuha Ako I turned to looked at him and I saw that he's was holding his phone while looking at me.

so  I smiled at him and said can you take a picture of me?? He rolled his eyes at me and got up, sungit talgaaa! I handed him my phone and he started taking pictures of
me, Meron pa Yung kunwari Hindi ko alam.

We both watched and feel the nature around us, as I continue talking some random things, and he just listened.

It's 5:00 when we decided to leave, we both get inside the car then suddenly I asked him  can we go back here again? He looked at me seriously, he sighed but then he nodded.

Just tell me, when you wanted to go here. He said then I smiled at him and nodded.

He insisted to drive me back home ayaw ko nga sana Kase baka Makita sya ni dad lagot na naman ako pero 5:30 palang naman so wlaa pa sya sa Bahay usually he comes home at 6:30 or 7:00 It depends.

We arrived at our house and Tama nga Ako Wala pa Yung kotse ni dad sa garage, xander's car stopped at the front of our house.

Thank you, for today Xander I appreciate it. I said and smiled at him.

He nodded, he wanted to say something but I feel like he's stoping himself.

I'll go now, ingat! I said and I was about to go out of his car when he caught my wrist and said. I'm sorry, I didn't know your not feeling well kanina.

No, it's okay. Don't worry about it Hindi lang talga ko nakapagpahinga Ng maayos, but I'm fine okay lang Ako. I said and smiled hiding the pain, my dad almost killed me last night that's why I'm not feeling well right now and it's not your fault Xander.

He nodded then he said take a rest elizea, see you tomorrow. Then he let go of my wrist.
