You and Mason have been seeing each other lately

He was the first person you've ever been on dates with, but you were scared to make anything official with him

He has said I love you at times, but you not knowing how to react would just smile at him

You two were currently at a picnic date he had set up for both of you

You two were laughing and eating as usual when he suddenly got serious

Mason:can I ask you something
Y/n:yeah of course

He moves to sit next to you

Mason:what are we?

You look at him your smile slightly dropping, you look down and pick up a strawberry

Y/n:I don't know Mason, what do you think we are
Mason:I want to be more than friends, we have been talking for 2 months now, I think it's time we give us a label
Y/n:I don't know if I'm ready yet Mason

He looks down

Mason:something that's been on my mind is how I always say that I love you but you never say it back, you would tell me you loved me all the time when we were just friends
Y/n:those I love yous are different though, this I love you is more romantic
Mason:that doesn't change the fact that I mean it

You look at him as he turns to look at you

Y/n:I grew up without affection, I don't know how to show it to you
Mason:maybe I can teach you, you just have to let me

He puts his hand on your cheek and kisses you

This was the first time you guys have kissed like that

He pulls away and you two smile at each other

Mason:so will you let me be your boyfriend and show you how affection is like?

You slightly laugh

Y/n:yes you can be my boyfriend
