Most days, Matthew just wondered why the hell he even bother trying. With anything. I mean, what's the point? Nobody pays attention to him anyways. He could be dancing around the room and screaming, but no one would even give him the time and day. he barely has any friends, except Kumajirou, but even he forgets who he is. When he was younger and being raised by France, he was a very timid and shy child growing up. But 'Papa' was always busy to help him grow out of it. Therefore, he never learned to break out of his shell. Sometimes he wouldn't mind it. Such as during wars. He would sit in the meeting room and watch the other countries right across the room with a bittersweet smile on his face. he wants to be noticed. He wants to be found.
.. But no one even tries to find him.
