The harsh morning light filtered through the high windows of the dormitory, waking Sierra from a restless sleep. The girls had barely closed their eyes before the loud clang of metal doors and the guards' commands jolted them awake.

"Get up! It's time for breakfast," one guard barked.

Still groggy, Sierra and the others followed the guards down the cold, sterile corridors. They entered a cafeteria where a lavish spread awaited them, far better than Sierra had ever experienced.

The table was set with golden French toast, scrambled eggs with chives, crispy bacon, and fresh pastries. There were also bowls of gourmet oatmeal, plates of fresh fruit, and rich, aromatic coffee.

mhmmm..

As they sat down, Sierra's eyes drifted to a group of young men at a separate table. Jessica's mention of "some guys" now made sense.

When Sierra's gaze landed on Adam, her face went pale. Her eyes widened as she recognized him.

Chloe's boyfriend..!

So he got caught up in this mess too....

Relief mixed with anxiety showed on her face.

She quickly walked over to him, her voice low but urgent. "Adam, it's me, Sierra. Chloe and your family are really worried about you. How are you holding up?"

Lauren's eyes then fell on Zade. Her initial look of annoyance softened into intrigue as she took in his charming appearance. Despite his indifferent demeanor, Lauren was clearly attracted to him.

One of the boys, taller and more confident than the rest except Zade of course, stood up and approached the girls.

"I'm Tom. We've heard from the guards about what's going on. We know a bit about the mastermind's plans," he said seriously.

The other boys nodded in agreement. "We've been piecing together information," Mark added, his tone nervous. "We don't have all the details, but it looks like they're planning something big and dangerous."

As the weight of their situation settled in, Sierra and the others listened closely. The information was unsettling, but it also gave them hope. Understanding what they were up against might be their first step toward fighting back and finding a way out.

Adam looked at Sierra with a mixture of relief and sadness. "I appreciate your concern, Sierra. Honestly, I don't wanna be here either. But, I was the first one to arrive at this place, and they've been treating me better than I ever expected. The dormitory, though, honestly sucks. It's cold and uncomfortable. But the food? Nah bro It's amazing. Well, way better than anything I had at home."
