Stagedorks (Jeremy x Christine) is actually really cute, however I don't think it makes sense for Christine to ask Jeremy on a date right at the end of the musical.

She herself says that after her failed relationship with Jake she isn't yet ready for dating someone new and that she has some stuff to figure out about herself before going on another date. Ofc we don't know how long Jeremy was in the hospital and if that gave Christine enough space but personally it all feels a little rushed.

But I still think that they do have a lot of chemistry and I could 100% see them dating at some point after the plot of the musical.
