3rd POV

The funeral for both of the female wizards happened a few weeks later with no body to bury for either it was a lot harder.
Natsu took the funeral way harder than any of them going into a deep depression and sinking further and further from reality. The guild decided to fix up the Dragneels house for Natsu after it had been destroyed. They knew he would need the help after everything.
After the funeral Natsu took on dangerous missions not caring for his life any more and risking his life over and over again. Desperately wanting to see his family again. The guild tried so hard to get him to stop and live for them but it never worked. He never listened. Eventually he stopped coming to the guild all together.

****Two years later****
****Somewhere far away****
"Mama I miss papa." A little girl cried as she sat on the floor of the cell they were in. "Do you think papa forgot about us....i thought papa would have found us by now." The pink haired girl continued crying. "Nashi baby your father would not have forgotten us. He loves us very much. He can't find us because they took us very far away..." Lucy trailed off as she looked off toward the distance. The small cell had one window that was too tall for either to see out of it though it wouldn't matter due to the bars being so thick. Lucy missed the sun. The warm rays shining on her the way the light shined through the trees through those hours of the late evening. She missed waking up and seeing the sun rise as Natsu held her tightly. The way the sun set looked as she would rock a baby Nashi to sleep. She missed it all.
She missed Natsu of course the most. The only reason she wasn't completely losing it was because she had to play strong for her daughter. The loud clicking of keys in the door to the cell startled her back to reality as Nashi quickly hid behind her mother as she had been taught too. The all too familiar figure of the master of the guild they were being held hostage at came into sight.
"Hello ladies.... Are you finally ready to give me the information I want or should we incite more pain..." he trailed off. "Nashi doesn't know anything and neither do I. How many times must we tell you this." Lucy said more sarcastically than she meant to. The man, quick to anger, promptly slapped the blonde haired mage with enough force to knock her to the ground. "Watch your mouth." The man snapped back. "I will get this information." You will tell me the secret weapon that old geezer Makarov has." The man sneered once more. Lucy lay on the ground far to weak to get up. "MAMA!" Nashi hollared worried for her mother.
"Don't worry baby I'm ok." Lucy said in a weak tone. "Oh don't lie Ms. Heartfillia. You know you aren't doing too well." The man laughed down at the woman. "it's Dragneel" Lucy whispered lowly. "What was that" the man said leaning lower to the woman lying on the ground. "I SAID ITS DRAGNEEL" Lucy said slamming her head into the man's nose. He hit the ground as Lucy quickly pushed Nashi out the door and locking the man in. "Nashi run!" Lucy yelled at her young daughter.
Both of them took off towards the open door. Lucy quickly found the keys for the magic seal stone cuffs confining Nashi's hands. "Listen to me baby I don't have much time. You have to run. Go back to the guild and get some help. Tell your papa I love him." Lucy rushed out as she put the necklace from her neck around her daughters. She quickly gave her daughter a peck on the forehead and told her a little incantation to help her find her way back to the guild.
"Mama I'm scared I don't want to go without you." The girl cried hugging her mother tightly. "I know baby but I can't go with you. You have to be brave for me ok. I need you to run and when you get far enough away say that incantation to this and it will lead you back to Fairy Tai. Now run my sweet girl I will hold him back." Lucy quickly said as she pushed Nashi out one more door this time not going through with her.
Nashi quickly took off, now noticing the light from the moon casting down on her. She didn't care much but quickly noticed how much better she felt in the moonlight.
After running for what felt like forever she came to a stop catching her breath. She looked down at the small broken key in her hand that her mother had given her. She felt tears well up in her eyes. She let a few slip out sitting on the ground and clutching the key close to her chest.
Almost as soon as the tears began they ended. "Mama is counting on me to get papa and that's what I have to do." The girl said standing up and wiping her tears away. She quickly stood up and wiped her tears from her eyes and whispered the incantation her mother gave her.
The small key glowed and twisted and turned until it finally locked onto a specific location. "Don't worry mama I'll be back with papa real soon." She whispered marching off into the darkness.
