A strange encounter

It was strange, how only a few minutes ago, atleast that's what it felt like, Dazai was on the sand and rocks, now on the snowy grass, basically freezing. He was thankful enough to have his tie, that way if it got too cold he'd just hang himself before the snow could kill him first.

"Help! Help! Anybody?!" A voice, a needy voice, cries from a distance. Of course, Dazai would seem like a real monster if he didn't atleast go check it out, right? Wrong. He was already a monster. The only reason he was checking this out was put of pure curiousity or the thin luck that he'd encounter a demon.

"Hello? Anybody there?" He calls out from the trees until the voice begins to draw closer. He could make out the figure of a young boy afar, slowly picking up his pace. Finally, he arrived. The boy had red hair, a scar, and red eyes whith a black and green striped haori.

"Oh thank God. I'm so sorry for bothering you, but I really need help! See, my family was attacked by demons, my sister the only one alive but barely. I'd really appreciate the help, I'll pay you as much yen as you want!" He says in a panting breath. "My name is Tanjiro Kamado. This is Nezuko Kamado."

"Oh! Of course I'll help you! Except I don't have a place to stay either.. What was wrong with your house?" Helping this tangerine boy, if that was even his name, was the last thing Dazai wanted to do.

"Oh. Well, all my family kinda.. Died there... So I didn't want to stay in a place like that."

"Oh, cool."

"What?"

"What?"

"You just said 'Oh cool.'"

"Not about your family dying, about the image that came to mind, dumbass. Now let's go, I'm sure we'll find somewhere."

"Right..."

After a few minutes of walking, the coldness didn't stop. This boy didn't seem too bothered by it, but instead more worried about his sister. Perhaps he grew up in the mountains?— CRASH!

"!" Dazai spins his head around to see Nezuko on the floor. "Did you drop her?"

"No?.. She.. Jumped..?"

"What? She's unconscious, how could she have jumped off your back?"

"WAH—"

"What happened?!"

"UH- Uhm..– Nothing.. It's just, I think Nezuko woke up." He points over to her in the distance. "Nezuko?"

"Hm? What's wrong with her? She look like a creepy doll." He says as if that was a compliment. "Well, what are you waiting for? She finally woke up. Go talk to her."

"No, something smells off."

"Smells?"

"Yea, sorry, did I not mention it? I have a really good nose."

"That's, ah, something. Anyways— Ah, where did she go?"

"Huh? What do you mean—AH-" Tanjiro yells whilst falling with a thud."

"What the hell?!" Dazai looks over to the boy and the girl who was attacking over him. "What's going on?! That's so creepy!"

"I don't know! Pass me that axe!"

He frantically looks around, spotting an axe that had fallen with Tanjiro, quickly picking it up and slightly tossing it. Tanjiro puts it in her mouth to block her out. "Nezuko?! Agh, she's a demon! The demons blood must've gotten in her wound! Come on, snap out of it, Nezuko! This isn't you!"

"What the fuck— This isn't my little pony, why are you using the power of friendship?" Dazai asks sarcastically. He knew that he could simply be bitten by the girl, but he'd rather have a more epic tale to tell back at the port. He could always exaggerate, after all, almost everyone was stupid. Except for Kouyo, Mori and Chuuya. Mori was dumb, but not dumb enough to believe Dazai's obvious lies. However people like the Akutagawa siblings would believe anything told to them, well probably not Gin, she'd just act for the laugh of seeing her older brother be less intelligent than her.

"Not the time!"

Suddenly, something- No, Somebody shoves Dazai to the side, grabbing a hold of Nezuko.

"What the—?! Who are you?! And why are you holding that boys not so innocent little sister?!"

"His sister is a demon." The man says, his voice was stern and grown-up.

"Woah. Hot. You're a mountain I'd like to climb."

"Excuse me?"

"Oh my bad you're an adult, ew— clears Throat, Let her go!"

"No. She's dangerous, if I even let down my guard for a moment she could kill us all." He says strictly. "It is my job to keep her safe."

"No! That's my sister! Nezuko would never hurt anyone let alone her own big brother!"

"Please, I've seen demon children eat their own parents. Demons are remorseless. All they do is eat and get stronger."

"Please you have to!"

"Stay back, boy. Wha–... Where'd you go? You." He shoots his gaze towards Dazai. "Where did he run off to?"

"I don't know. I was more focused on your half-n-half haori."

"Ugh great, just what I neede—" Suddenly an axe flies towards him, barely hitting the tree and landing only a few millimeters away from his head. "Why you little?!—" Toss! Toss!

And Tanjiro began throwing rocks as if it would do something.

"You can stop throwing rocks, it clearly isn't doing anything."

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!" Then, one of the rocks hits a tree, flying right back and hitting Dazai in the head.
