"Hey lily" said joseph while sitting down next to her. "Oh hey joseph how you been?" lily responded with. "I've been horrible me and my girlfriend have just been arguing" said joseph. "how come?" lily said. "because she cheated on me and we're tryna work things out but she seems to not care" joseph said while putting his head down. "why don't you come over? it'll make you feel better if we watch MOVIESSSS!" lily said as the bell rang for school to end she got up and put her hand out for joseph to grab cause that's what they always do.
Joseph grabbed her hand as they walked out the school to walk to lily's house. Lily's parents loved joseph but they always had a feeling something was going on between them. were they right or wrong? who knows. "Hey lily?" joseph said "yeah?" lily replied. "Did you ever like me?" joseph said. Lily stopped walking to look at him. "excuse me what?" she said. "it's just my girlfriend kept telling me lily likes you and i just keep denying it cause come on we're friends and only friends". after he said that lily felt a pain in her stomach she really liked joseph. she had to play it cool since they were just gonna be friends.
"no joseph" as she said laughing "i've never liked you nor will i ever" she said. "okay good cause my girlfriend would've been mad" he said. "yeah good" she said whispering to herself. Lily and joseph made it to lily's house they walked in and greeted lily's parents. "hi mom hi dad" lily said "hey Mr grant hey Mrs grant" joseph said while waving at them. "oh hey kids how was school" lily's dad said. "it was okay just kinda stressful" joseph said. "it was good i made a new friend in my 3rd hour" lily said. "oh well that's good sweetie and im sorry about ur day joseph" said lily's mom. "hey mom since it's Friday can joseph sleep over?" lily said while giving her mom the puppy eyes. her mom and dad always let joseph sleep over for the weekends. "yes ofc just go to his house and get his clothes cause i don't think he's gonna wear the same thing for two days" lily's mom said while laughing. "okay mom we will" lily said.
