Chapter 39

We landed off the jet three hours ago so we got a room in a hotel since adrian didn't want too many people to know that  We were back in Italy since that's where Xavier's dad is , I cant be bothered to know his name but we have his address . Adrian left and hour ago to check up on his wear house here in Italy and i think he is gone to visit his moms grave .

He likes to act though but i know its killing him inside that she's gone she was the only one that truly cared about him .

I wrapped the Towel around my body as i stepped out of the shower , I got started with my routine drying and styling my hair  , I put lotion all over my body as i washed my face and put on my skincare products .

When i was done , i applied  my makeup and put on my outfit , That was just a bodysuit with flared legs , I put on my oversized leather jacket and my silver necklace and earrings ,  My phone rang so i picked it up from the bathroom island and seen a unknown number .

''Ciao'' i answered , There was a pause before the person answered .

''ciao figlia'' my fathers tired voice came through the phone , I was just about to hang him up when he replied again .

''Ho sentito la tua schiena in Italia'' he says , My face scrunched up , There was no way he knew i was back , No one knew .

''e come fai a saperlo'' i reply putting the phone on loudspeaker and putting it on the table as i leaned down and picked up my shoes , I slipped my feet into the trainers .

''Figlia so tutto quello che succede in italia'' he says smugly making me roll my eyes at the big ego man .

'' Yeah whatever bye '' i say hanging up the phone , I walked back into the room and sat on the bed as the door opened and adrian came in a smirk on his face .

'' Guess who i kidnapped '' he says walking in and sitting on the one seater couch , He patted his lap as i walked over to him and sat on his lap .

'' Did you get him '' i say and he nodded before kissing me his hands went to my back pulling me into him more .

'' Yeah he is in the wearhouse now if you want to kill him you can , Or i can just get my men to do it '' he says before kissing me again .

'' I want to go  i need to talk to him '' i say when he stiffens below me , I pulled back and started at him , He looked uneasy .

'' What is it '' i say when he looks up at me something unknown in his eyes . '' Nothing baby just remember i love you okay '' he says plastering a smile on his face , I nodded before kissing him again .

I got of him And motioned to the door . '' Lets go '' i tell him walking out of the room with him behind me we pass the receptionist on the way  out giving her our key card to hold .

We got into the car adrian had left outside and drove in silence to the wear house .

We walked into the wear house there was men all over at the entry standing , There was more walking the corridors there was also some training in the room With the glass see through window .

Adrian walked in front of me , He stopped at a door with a lock on it , He put in the code and the door opened , He pushed it back and let me walk in first .

There was this fat man sitting in a chair , He looked beaten  . He looked up when he seen us and rolled his eyes .

'' What is it now'' he croaks his voice hoarse , He looked badly bruised around the face and neck .

'' Why did you try and get people to kill me '' i say pulling a chair up and sitting down on it , He smirked at this showing his bloody teeth .

''Because you were the Assassin That was ruining mafias , And your a woman '' he says like its obvious .

He looked up at Adrian before plastering a smirk on his face  . '' Why dont u ask ur boyfriend about your mother '' he says , Before i could get to ask him what he was talking about a bullet was in his head .

I looked over at adrian who was putting away his gun . '' What the fuck  , Why did you do that '' i say angrily at him when he looked at me like he wanted to say something .

'' What was he talking about Adrian '' i say when he continued ignoring me , I picked up the chair and threw it at the wall beside him he looked up at me before speaking .

'' I cant tell you '' He says like it pains him . '' Have you been lying to me adrian '' i say slowly , I didn't even want to ask him but i had too .

'' No , No its Not like that '' he replied shaking his head , He walked to me making a grab for me i moved away from him ignoring the look of hurt on his face .

'' What do u know about my mother '' i ask clenching my fist , He knew something that's why he shot the man , Because he don't want me to know .

'' Nothing , nothing baby please believe me '' he says distraught , I Ignore the little feeling im getting in my stomach , For hurting him but i have to know .

'' Are you going to tell me adrian '' i say but there was nothing but silence , I nodded before walking out of the room and down the corridor to the car , He followed behind .

'' Take me back to the hotel '' is all i say when he opened the doors and i got in , I gave him the silent treatment .

We pulled up at the hotel and i got out and walked to the reception where i collected the key , I walked to the room , Opened the door and walked in .

I picked up my bag and put my things i brought into it , He watched .

'' Im going home , And your staying here , Don't follow me if your not going to tell me the truth '' i Say closing the bag and walking out of the room leaving him there .

This is just a short chapter , And there is finally drama , Were only on chapter 39 so anything can happen .
