Y/n: W-Who are you?
???: I am Dr. Destiny, and I will help you find your remaining parents.
Y/n: Ok.
Destiny: Ok? Are you not concerned about a catch?
Y/n: What is it?
He takes off his skull mask, revealing a grotesque visage / top of the chapter/
Destiny: Your body will begin to fail much like mine. It will happen gradually, but the more and more you learn, the more your body will deteriorate. The first parent is a lot closer than it appears. His newest protege will join your team soon.
Now, wake up, child!
Y/n wakes up and feels like hell.
Y/n:Was that real?
He goes to spash water in his face, but when he does, skin comes off, revealing that the skin and muscle around his left eye is peeling off. He rubs around the area, causing more to come off.
Y/n: The fuck?
He rubs more, slowly revealing bits of bone.
He contacts Batman.
Batman: What happened to your eye?
Y/n: I made a deal. It's costing me my flesh. I need a new suit to wear while my eye heals.
Batman: Why?
Y/n: The cowl is attached to the suit. I have another mask [motions to Sportsmaster mask on wall], but I need something to cover the rest of me.
Batman: I'll send some body armor and an eye patch.
They hang up, and Y/n checks the time.
Y/n: It's 3 am. I can't sleep now.
He wraps his eye and goes to the living area. And goes to pick a movie.
Y/n: Grey Ghost '66? Nice!
