POV Adrien:

I asked my driver to drive Marinette home, explaining that I needed to go to my office. As she sat in the car with the window rolled down, she held my hand and rested it on her cheek.

Marinette: when will you be back?

Adrien: late today

I replied, leaning in to give her a quick peck on the lips. The car drove away, and I watched until it disappeared from sight.

I mounted my bike and rode to my company. Arriving at the office, I pulled off my helmet and walked inside, carrying it under my arm as I headed straight to my office.

Sitting in my leather chair, I placed my helmet on the desk and crossed my legs on the desk

Luka walked in with Plagg. Plagg ran toward me, placing his two paws on my thighs, his tongue hanging out as I petted him

Adrien: hi buddy, missed me?

He barked in response and sat beside me, wagging his tail. Luka looked at me

Luka: your father is outside waiting to meet you

Adrien: let him in.

My father walked in. He took a seat across from me, he looks at me in the eyes

Gabriel: Adrien. We need to talk about Marinette.

I leaned forward placing my elbows on my desk, smirking at him

Adrien: what about her, old man?

Gabriel: you know damn well what I mean. She isn't good for you. You will just play with her heart and then throw her away like you always do.

His said as his jaw tightened. I couldn't help but chuckle.

Adrien: and what? She is good for you? Don't make me fucking laugh.

Gabriel: I care about her. More than you ever will.

Adrien: you make me sick; you know that? Still pining after her like a lovesick teenager. You still in love with her, huh?

Gabriel's face reddened, but he didn't back down as my smirk is widening but I was a bit mad because he mentioned my girl

Gabriel: yes, I do. But that's not the point

Adrien: not the point? Where the fuck was your head when you fell for her? she can be your daughter for fuck's sake. You know that girl is mine? it's my girl, my woman

Garbiel: wait a fucking minute, you are falling for her?

Adrien: who said I didn't already big boy?

Gabriel: fuck, now you answer me and tell me where was your head when you fell in love with her?

I leaned in closer, relishing the chance to shock him but my answer made him widen his eyes in shock
