The country of Panem is silent. President S.E Snow strides across the stage, towards the podium. All eyes meet their television screens as she taps on her microphone. "Citizens of Panem!" She starts, throwing her arms up into exaggeration. "We are gathered today, for the announcement of the year. The first ever Quarter Quell!" She says, enthusiastically. As she starts speaking once more, her tone is set to a more serious tone, grieving, perhaps? "Panem has suffered the greatest losses, both in the districts and the Capitol."

The president takes a moment to pause. "Many of those that have left us wondering: What shall we do for entertainment?" A sly smile crosses her face subtly.

"Our nation, once known for it's grand theaters, it's beautifully written musicals!" She sighs, and gently shakes her head, smirking. "Now, what have we now? Actors and actresses scattered across the districts, don't we?" She asks the rhetorical question, heavy with the well known Capitol accent.

"A quarter of a century ago, our government has promised every 25 years, there shall be a twist on the yearly Hunger Games. And, well of course, this is most definitely an entertaining quirk!" She giggles to herself, revealing a small piece of paper, clenching it with her fingers. She then begins to read aloud. "As the 25th Annual Hunger Games embarks upon our country's first Quarter Quell... Each district shall be reaped of their own actor and actress, from the Original Broadway Cast of The Outsiders Musical!"

Her words echo across the speechless Panem. Gasps fill houses, shocked. The country's most beloved musical cast, left to fight to the death in the arena?

Soon, it is the day after the heart shattering news of the Outsiders Cast's fate. Only one is to make it out alive. The Reaping is to take place today, airing all across of Panem. Although, traditionally picking out of a bowl listed with all of the names, it is already obvious all cast members are to be chosen, some members only having one member per district.

As the Reaping starts from the town center of district 12, and concludes with the career filled District 1. The first to be Reaped is the talented Brody Grant, having been a District 12 native before his Broadway debut as the lead, Ponyboy Curtis. As Brody trudges downstage, he is the only cast member who will be representing the mining district.

District 11 is next. The famous Emma Pittman, who was originally known as Cherry Valance, was only suitable to be discovered in the agricultural district. Her character was found quite ironic. The male tribute is pulled from the bowl that contains only one name, Josh Strobl. He is the well known understudy of both Ponyboy and Johnny Cade in the musical. He is found to be a sweet and kindly spoken man, which seems to make him appear as more of an underdog in the arena.

District 10's singular representative, Trevor Wayne, is selected. He is known for being the head of the alligator department in the livestock district, having the phrase 'Chomp Chomp' in his Instagram bio. Also known as the understudy towards Brody Grant's Ponyboy.

Brent Comer, from the grain production district, is selected as district 9's proud tribute. Brent's character, Darrel Curtis, is known for his signature song of 'Runs in the Family'. Having his hands torn up from working to put food on the table every night, and for the difficult place of being stuck between the role of a brother and a father. Playing the eldest Curtis brother in the musical, there is a likely hood of Brent coming out of the arena alive.

Jason Schidmt, also associated as Sodapop Curtis, takes his place on the list of tributes. The textile district's Reaping concludes in only having one tribute to spair. Jason appears at the Reaping with his fan favorited green and pink shirt that many fans adored on Soc Saturday. Jason has his love for fashion, coming from being a district 8 native.

District 7's tribute bowl has only a single piece of paper labeled with the name of Sarah Grace Mariani. She was originally cared for the role of Marcia, Cherry's friend. In the musical, Sarah Grace made sure to ask the writers to have her dress made in green, to represent the lumber district.

Only halfway through the Quarter Quell's Reaping, Panem is in total astray over the loss of their favorite cast.

As Daryl Tofa's name is pulled from district 6's tribute bowl, Grease Got a Hold is blasting in households across the nation. Daryl, or Two-bit Matthews in the Outsiders, is quoted by his line that reference's to his own transportation district by saying, "SOMETIMES YOU GOTTA STOP AND SMELL THE MOTOR OIL!"

The beloved Dan Berry is district 5's local celebrity. As Dan was known for his campaign for the next presidential canidate for Panem, he was planning on running the following year. Dan is the only cast member to have traveled to outer space, having been from the electricity and power district.

Both Melody Rose and Bart Cowperthwaite are selected as district 4's both male and female tributes. Melody, who is known for having a loving for sharks and seafood comes from being raised in the fishing district. Bart, is familiar with how district 4 is known for family, is obviously motivated to win the games to get back to his wife he recently married. Both are known for their roles as the Socs, Bev and Brill.

Nearing the end, two tributes are selected for district 3. Both being the male performers, Renni Magee and Sky Lakota-Lynch. The games needing as many tributes to spare, the two males are pulled from the same tribute bowl. Renni is seemingly confident, being an intelligent actor who played Steve Randle, a professional with cars. It was found that Renni was the most suitable role for Steve. Sky is also known as Johnny Cade, who is a fan favorite for having the resourceful instincts that come from district 3. Though Sky may seem more of an underdog, his own character is portrayed and even kills in the musical, so much of Panem knows not to be weary of him.

The well known career actors, Joshua Boone and Tilly Evans-Krueger are found to be the female and male tributes of the weaponry district. Both were brought up in the career academies funded by the wealthy district 2. Joshua's charcter, Dallas Winston, is known for being an intimidating person, which made sense for Joshua to be casted for the role. Tilly was the associate choreographer for the Broadway musical and also played the female greaser, Ace. Both are likely to have the upper hand in the Games.

Finally, the well known Socs, Graham Robert James Higton VII or RJ and Kevin William Paul are the final tributes for the game, being from district 1. They're known for playing the upper class boys, which checks out due to the luxury district. They were both the first to sign up for the open casting due to their Soc-coded names.

As the annual Reaping is finishes, Panem is in tears.
