ˏˋ°•*⁀➷𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐫 did not do love. Crazy right? A daughter of Aphrodite who didn't believe in it.

To Brielle it was more complicated than that.

The downturn of love is just as powerful as its rise. When love falls apart, it can feel like your whole world is crumbling. The pain can be unbearable, and the sadness can seem like it will never end. The heartbreak can leave you feeling like you'll never be the same again. It's a feeling that can make everything seem dark and hopeless. It's a feeling that no one should ever have to experience. Love is a double-edged sword, and the fall is just as sharp as the rise.

At the same time, it was a blessing.
Love is a feeling so powerful, it can move mountains. Its warmth can light up even the darkest of nights. It can make the impossible seem achievable, and make the world look brand new. It's a feeling that is both magical and miraculous, yet somehow so natural and pure. It's something that is felt so deeply, it can take your breath away. Love is a gift, a blessing, a miracle that we must cherish and hold on to. It's a feeling that is truly beyond words.

Her entire life, Brielle believed in it. She even experienced love for someone.

That all changed when that someone died.

The pain of loss is one of the most difficult emotions to process. When we experience the death of someone we love, the trauma of that loss can be intense and long-lasting. The sudden absence of a loved one can leave us feeling lost, confused, and overwhelmed with grief. The experience of grief is unique to each individual, and the journey through it can be different for each person. Some people may struggle to accept the reality of the loss, while others may feel guilt or regret over things left unresolved.

Brielle had a talk with her mom after Xander had died. The goddess of love didn't seem worried about it, which made Brielle suspicious and even more heartbroken.

When facing the loss of someone we love, it's natural to feel a sense of grief and heartbreak. But when the loss of someone we love causes us to lose faith in love entirely, it can be a devastating experience. It's a feeling that can make us feel lost, hopeless, and alone. We may question our own abilities to love and be loved, and may even struggle to trust others. It can be a difficult and lonely journey, and it's important to seek support and guidance as we navigate our emotions.

Brielle had, and still was, feeling just that

She had told herself to cut off all hope for another love but in her heart, she knew that she would always hold out hope, no matter how much she tried to deny it. The idea of giving up on love was simply too painful and too final to ever truly consider. As much as she tried to tell herself that she was done with love, she knew that there would always be a part of her that yearned for it, and for the connection that came with it.

But finding another love would be a betrayal to her first one she felt. To move on would be to forget, and she couldn't bear the thought of forgetting someone who had meant so much to her. She wanted to honor the memories of the love she had shared with her first love, even as she struggled to move on. Love was complicated, messy, and sometimes painful, but it was also a fundamental part of the human experience, and that made it worth fighting for, even in the face of loss and heartbreak.

The son of Zeus had shown her the true meaning of love and no amount of heartbreak could diminish the impact that he had had on her life. Despite her fears and her pain, she knew that she would always be grateful for the love that he had shown her, and for the way he had opened her heart to new possibilities and experiences. Love was a complex and powerful force, capable of both destroying and healing, and she knew that she would always be changed by her encounter with the son of Zeus. She would always hold onto that love, even as she tried to move on, and she would always treasure the memories of the happiness and the pain that it had brought into her life.

Her siblings had been disappointed when all her efforts were gone, most avoided her but some like Selena Beauregard, offered her a friendly hand to help her through her loss. She found solace in their friendship and support, and she was grateful for the empathy and understanding that they offered. The love she had lost was a deep and lasting pain, and it would be a part of who she was forever, but she was not alone. With the help of her friends and family, she was able to find the strength to move on and to honor her memories in her own way. Love was a force that couldn't always be controlled, but it was a part of what made us human, and she was grateful for the opportunity to have loved and lost, even as she moved forward with her life.

Every morning Brielle wanted to break down, to not get out of bed, to solve her life away even if it meant to give up on everything she's worked for. But every morning, somehow she found the strength to put one foot in front of the other, and to keep trying. It was a struggle and it was hard, but she knew that she couldn't give up on herself when she needed herself the most. So, she kept going, one step at a time, each morning finding the strength and willpower to get on with her life, even when it felt impossible. Her dedication and her determination was an inspiration to her and those around her, and even in the darkest moments, she found hope in the knowledge that she was stronger than she thought.

Very few people knew about her love for Xander. Annabeth Chase, Selena, a cute Apollo boy, Will Solace. Xander didn't know himself until the quest.

Until it all came crashing down.

The only good thing in her life at the moment was that, at least she succeeded her quest, but even that couldn't help her and her broken heart.

Everyday, she put on a brave face. "I'm fine." She'd say. She wasn't.

Deep down Brielle knew that nobody was okay, not truly. Everyone was struggling in their own way, some more visible than others, but no one truly escaped the trials and tribulations of life. And that, in a strange way, offered comfort. She knew that she was not alone in her pain, and that there were others who understood what she was going through, even if they didn't verbalize it. It was a reminder that everyone was human, that no one was perfect, and that it was okay to struggle.

But again, you're always truly alone, everybody had different things going on in different manners, so no one could truly understand the pain and struggles of another person, which was a harsh reality that one had to face sooner or later. But at the same time, it was a reminder that everyone was fighting their own battles, often in silence, and that every win and every victory was something to be celebrated, even if it only took place within the confines of one's own mind. It was a reminder that one was not alone in their struggles, and that even in the darkest moments, there was hope for brighter days ahead.

Brielle knew there was hope for a better life, but she didn't want to believe it. She didn't want Xanders memory to be forgotten.

Everyday she'd tell herself: Our hearts are monsters, and our ribs are it's cages.

She would never let her heart go again.

Yet again, even the gods come down to their knees for love.
