LOS ANGELES: AUGUST, 2020
"Who the hell is that?"
You heard the exasperated gasp of your agent on the other end of the phone at your words.
"BTS?! How do you not know them? The k-pop group? You know that song, dy-na-na-na-na-na-na-na EH-"
You chuckled. "I'm kidding, Sabrina. Obviously I know who they are."
You could almost feel Sabrina's lethal death glare down the phone. "I fucking hate being your agent sometimes."
"No you don't," you grinned, pressing the phone to your ear, gazing down onto the sun-baked pavement in front of the downtown apartment you were renting. "I make you lots and lots of money, and you love me for it."
Sabrina huffed, and didn't say anything. You knew you were correct.
"Of course I know them," you continued, rolling your eyes at your agent's naivety. "Every choreographer worth anything knows them."
"Well, good," Sabrina replied, still a little disgruntled. "Because guess who they want to hire to choreograph their next music video?"
This, you were not expecting. "Seriously? Me?"
"Mm," Sabrina hummed. "The dude said something about butter. Apparently it's gonna be big."
You sipped at the shake you were currently drinking for breakfast and thought about it. You knew BTS were notorious for their choreography, putting international acts to shame with the material they put out for fans. You had heard, through industry connections, that they were also some of the nicest and hardest working clients for a choreographer, which tempted you a little more, because celebrities could often be real assholes, in your experience.
