in a faraway land
there lived a little girl
who thought books were grand.
With books she went
on many great adventures
everywhere, in all the lands
she could ever venture.
With books she slayed
demons, dragons and monsters
with books she made friends
with princes, elves and sorcerers.
And when the time came,
when she heard her parents' snores
she thought about sleep, then laughed
and went to read some more.
