Chapter seven: Study
After the study session with their teacher, the group of five were heading home. Minami, Uchi, and Kuma were singing the English alphabet.
Sawada suddenly stopped, making everyone else stop, as he pointed to the riverbank. Reina looked and saw a familiar figure laying on the grass.
"Noda!" Kuma shouted as the five of them went walking down the hill.
"Hey what are you doing out here?" Minami asked.
Noda sighed, "Nothing much."
"Hey, come back to school. Yankumi's started an English class, and you won't even believe all the stuff she's trying to make us learn!" Kuma said.
"Yeah, it's a pain," Uchi added.
Noda seem not interested, until Sawada said "It's possible that Fujiyama might get fired." Noda sat up in shock.
"But she won't if the entire class gets a 30% or higher on the English midterms. If we can do that then Fujuyama-sensei will be able to keep her job. Yankumi-sensei even started to give extra classes after school, but no one showed up today." Reina said as Sawada showed him one of Yankumi's flyers.
As Noda stared at the handmade packet, "She said she wasn't just doing it for Fujuyama sake, but for your sake too." Sawada explained.
It was quiet before Noda quickly stood up and left. "Hey Noda!" Minami yelled.

The next day Reina was quite surprised, on how Noda managed to convince the entire class to come to Yankumi-sensei's tutorial sessions. She knew that her teacher was going to be surprised when she gets here.
They were quieted as they heard footsteps coming to the door. There was a pause, then Yankumi, with the same giant stack of books and papers, walked in with her head down.
"You're late! Let's hurry up and get started, Yankumi!" Uchi called out.
"You guys..." she started, still in shock. "...all came."
"For the sake of our own, we're willing to do anything."
"It's 'duty and compassion'!" chorused the twins, echoing her passionate speech about what friendship meant.
"Well, it doesn't hurt to study sometimes."
"It can't be helped. He even got down his knees and begged."
"Huh? Who got down on his knees?" She asked.
"Who do you think?" Shin said, as Reina pointed to the door. Still holding her massive pile of books, she turned towards the door as Noda slowly stepped in.
"Noda!" She shouted
He walked towards her slowly, "I'm sorry," he mumbled. She dropping all her books and attacking Noda's hair with a smile.
"Stop it!" he laughed as he struggled to get away her, class cheered and clapped for him as he made his way to his seat.
"Alright, guys, let's begin the review session!" Yankumi said earnestly. "For Fujiyama Sensei, OH!" she shouted, pumping her fist in the air.
"Oh...?" the class mumbled.
"That's weak! Again, OH!" she repeated.
"OH!" the guys shouted.
