Phew, I'm uploading this a little late in the day, but I still managed to get it out before the day was over. Sorry everyone, I was a little busier than usual as I've returned from vacation and am starting to settle on my new line of work.

I'm looking at a wait and see approach when it comes to my spare time going forward to ensure I can continue to work on this project and finish it, but without it interfering with my personal goals which includes finishing up my first real novel.

So, while there will be a some future slow downs, it's ultimately being done to ensure I have the means to continue this project. (That or I hit the lottery and I can just work on this as a much as I want. Who knows what life has in store for us? Eh, a man can dream.)

Anyway, back to business with this chapter.

For brand new readers, don't worry, you haven't clicked on the wrong button and I didn't upload the wrong chapter. This is the start of Arc VII, but we will return where we left off and start Arc II properly in the next chapter. I cannot reveal my grand plan, but there is a critical reason for me to do that will make sense once we reach Arc VII proper.

More details will be shared in the commentary section and all I can say from here is good luck and have fun!

"I protect myself by refusing to know myself."

Floriano Martins

"Ms lmuu tiiu wsjdeai ds tmjws, kys xuidwi kidj lmsb ms." (*1)

"Right," The Princess answered as she lay there waiting. She had been waiting for quite some time now. Waiting for news about him, for some kind of update, anything whatsoever. Now, she was about to be taken on a journey to find him.

"Oiesdu fzesdfs bdw kiie edqi, IQLME mw iesijmea wsdeqkh ozqi, deq li dji jidqh tzj sbi eiyjdu umec fzeeifsmze lmsb Tdtemj."

"Yjdgmsh, sbi eins til ozoiesw lmuu ki fjmsmfdu. Wz xuidwi ryws jiudn deq tzfyw ze bme, zcdh?"

"I understand," she answered as she was suddenly swallowed by darkness despite the rapid change in atmosphere. She remained relaxed and continued as instructed. She felt like she was sinking; the void felt almost like water, yet it was as light as air. As she focused, several ambient sounds began to be drowned out, save for the faintest whispers and the tiniest beeping sounds that could be heard from beyond the veil.

"Fzeeifsmze bdw kiie iwsdkumwbiq, IQLME mw azmea dfsmgi; iwsdkumwboies zt qmamsdu eiysjdu pzei mw ezl xjzfijjmea. Oiesdu Eiyjz-umec Dgdsdjw dji ezl jieqijmea."

"Yjdgmsh, jioiokij lbds li szuq hzy. Smoi lmuu zxijdsi qmttijiesuh mewmqi IQLME deq ms't umciuh sbds Tdtemj lmuu bdgi d wmaemtmfdes uidq dbidq zt hzy. Oidelbmui, sbi dgdsdjw dji oijiuh de insiewmze zt hzyjwiugiw. Sjyws sbio, deq sjyws hzyj bidjs; sbih lmuu wbzl hzy sbi ldh hzy eiiq sz az."

The girl did not answer. She was too focused on the task before her. She had promises to keep. She had to concentrate on finding him and bringing him back home. She had to get him back. She needed to bring back their hope for everyone who had been left behind, who waited for them to come back home.
