Hello everyone!! This is Hiraeth 🦋 It means a feeling of missing our home to which we can never return or which maybe never existed in the real world.
So, this is basically gonna be my first fanfic because i couldn't really find anything better to do but to let out my fantasy as much as possible....I've read many fics and tbh, they were all very inspiring and beautiful reads...but then I wanted to write something of my own.
I hope y'all will guide me through your support (<3) i.e. questions, suggestions and positive critics as well ^^
SETUP OF THE STORY:-
Xie Lian is a renowned god who has ascended three times over the course of 800 years. In between these ascensions, he had to live his life as a mortal and he retains his memory. This story takes place after the events of the novel (which i haven't completed yet TvT).
So, xie lian is currently living his another mortal life but this time, he doesn't have his memory as a god, due to an error. He is the prince of a kingdom, also called Xianle, like his original one. He however, has run away from his palace currently and is living discreetly in his own smaller home. Only he himself, and his advisor, knows this fact.
Hiraeth, his long time friend, and his personal advisor in the royal court, is about to unexpectedly confess to him about his love. And yes, he's actually Hua Cheng but in a hidden avatar since they've separated due to xie Lian's mortal life. (i took the name hiraeth for hua cheng because xie lian is his home where he wants to return soon 😭✨) Xie Lian is unaware that he is hua cheng, ofc, due to memory loss, but he finds a strange connection to him and is drawn to him. He has no idea that huacheng has been and is by his side all along, even tho he's not supposed to, according to the rules. But...he's not the one to follow them, is he?? 😏
It'll be a series, kind of, and it'll include fluff, comfort, smut, a bit of a slow burn, angst, and all sorts of feelings you might want to read in a hualian fanfic. (I'll do my best hehe) And with how daring our Danmei Fandom is, thanks to all the traumas we recieved from Hualian, Wangxian, Bingqiu, Ranwan...and many other couples, I'm hope they'll enjoy this to their heart's content.
