Sometimes I feel having a "boyfriend" is a waste of time and no, it's not because I don't pull it's because all boys are the same. I've been in many situationships that ended because I got ghosted. With that being said let's move on.
AT SCHOOL (HOME TIME)
I met up with my friend outside.
"What happened between you and Sean?" my best friend, Nella asked.
I sighed loudly before answering, "Ain't it obvious? I got ghosted."
she looked at me in disbelief and exclaimed, "No way!"
"Yes, way!" I replied sarcastically.
"But wasn't he your first kiss though?"
"Technically speaking, no. He kissed me on the neck. When I went home I washed that specific spot with soap."
"I heard he's a sl*t."
"You heard right. He stopped talking to me because he couldn't get into my pants and the next day I saw him the girlfriend he told me he didn't have."
"It's alright... he wasn't hot anyways.
"I'm finished with boys. I feel like I'm bent now."
"Well, 'bent' yourself back straight 'cause we going out!"
"WHERE?!"
"DATING SHOW!!!"
"..."
(AT NELLA'S HOUSE)
"What are you packing for? I thought you said you weren't going?" Nella asked.
"Forget what I said... I mean... FREE FOOD, NIGHT VIEW, AND HOT TUBE? who would stay home?!" I said as I threw the packed suitcases on the bed.
"Oh wow..." Nella rolled her eyes.
"So when does our flight arrive?"
"In 40 minutes," Nella said as she stood up from the bed.
"Then what are we waiting for?! Hit the road child!" I exclaimed due to excitement.
AT THE AIRPORT (IN THE PLANE) IN NEW YORK.
"I was told the flight is gonna take 15 hours and 30 minutes," Nella said as she sat down in her seat.
"I forgot to ask but where are we going?"
"I was told the game show will be hosted in Korea," Nella said as showed me her phone with all the information and details.
"Uhm... It's my first time hearing about that country."
"I'm sure you'll love it," Nella said as she put her neck pillow on.
"We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartment. we also ask that your seats and table trays be in the upright position for take off."
IN SOUTH KOREA {SEOUL}
after what felt like forever the plane landed and we arrived in Korea. I was both nervous and excited. I couldn't wait to enjoy this beautiful country with my best friend. I was daydreaming until I was forced to snap back to reality.
"RINA!" Nella exclaimed.
I flinched as I was still daydreaming a bit, 'OH! wassup?"
"You're blocking the other behind you! This is not a movie so get your a*s going. Our ride is over there." Nella said as she pointed towards a black van.
My face grew tomato red as I saw the crowd behind me. I immediately ran to the van.
We were driving to our destination, which I have no idea where it is. The car was silent but Nella decided to break the silence.
"I suggest you listen to a bit of K-pop. The music is quite catchy." Nella said.
"What's K-pop?" I asked.
"Gosh... you need to educate yourself about the culture a bit. I'll tell you along the way."
We arrived in front of a big building. It was mesmerizing. We stood there admiring its beauty.
"Oh, our luggage is-" I was lost for word when the driver threw our luggage on the floor and drove off.
"You s*n of bi*ch! @#$#@$$@#@#!" I was cursing like there was no tomorrow then Nella covered my mouth with her hand and whispered, "Shut up! Look at the crowd you gathered! remember we're not in London or our home country anymore."
I looked around and realized the huge crowd. I was a bit embarrassed but I don't regret it one bit. It's a good thing Nella taught me those Korean curse words.
We took up the luggage and headed inside. We were greeted by a tall handsome man who led us to the main event.
"He's hot..." I said as I looked back at him and winked and mouthed the words, "Call me."
His pov:
"Is she... mad? Why is she doing a 'rawring' gesture?" he thought to himself.
he forced a smile and bowed as he left.
"Do you think he finds me hot?" I asked.
"That I don't know of, but I do know he thinks you're crazy," Nella said
I rolled my eyes. I then began to observe the room we were in. It was filled with filming equipment.
"Ready in 3,2,1." a man in a fancy-looking suit said.
