Yuvaraja Ravi entered the chamber. It was a short path to reach the waiting lounge.
As Yuvaraja Ravi entered the room, his gaze was drawn to Anahita sitting in the waiting lounge.
She looked stunning in a peach lehenga with silver and gold embroidery, a departure from her usual bold style. The soft color suited her perfectly, and the diamonds and gold jewelry added a touch of elegance.
Ravi's eyes were fixed on her, taking in every detail from head to toe, his gaze lingering on her beauty as if frozen in time.
The air was electric with tension, and for a moment, nothing else existed except the two of them, lost in a silent admiration.
Anahita's soft voice broke the spell, "Hello, Ravi. I'm glad you accepted my invitation and came."
Ravi's gaze faltered, his eyes darting around the room as he struggled to compose himself.
"Ahh, hello... I'm glad you called me," he stuttered, his mind reeling from the intensity of their encounter. As Anahita rose from her seat, her movements graceful and fluid, Ravi's eyes couldn't help but follow her. She gestured for him to enter, and he hesitated, his mind muddled. "Where?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Anahita's laughter was like music, her eyes sparkling with amusement. She stepped closer, her voice taking on a sultry tone. "Where means... I can't leave you here. This is for outsiders, not for those close to me."
Ravi's eyes locked onto hers, his mind racing with inappropriate thoughts. He nodded mutely, his senses overwhelmed by her proximity. His eyes betrayed him, revealing the lust and longing he couldn't conceal.Anahita's intentions were clear - she wanted to dispel any doubts Ravi might have about her.
With a subtle smile, she led him to the grand main hall, where she spent most of her days.
The room was a vision of beauty, adorned with vibrant flowers and a sumptuous dining table set with delectable dishes. "Make yourself comfortable," she said, her voice warm and inviting. "Would you like something to eat or drink?"Ravi's response was laced with eagerness, "Anything you offer, I'll gladly accept."
Anahita's eyes sparkled with mischief as she teased, "What if I offered you poison?" Her words hung in the air, and Ravi's eyes widened in shock.
For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension palpable.Anahita burst into laughter, her eyes dancing with amusement. "I was just joking, Ravi! Don't look so frightened!" She continued serving the dishes, her hands moving with grace.
Ravi's smile was forced, his mind still reeling from the unexpected banter. "So, what's the matter? Why did you call me here?" he asked, his tone laced with a mix of curiosity and caution.
Anahita's eyes sparkled as she revealed her intentions, "I wanted to spend quality time with you, Ravi. You mentioned we didn't have a good connection, so I wanted to improve it."
Ravi's face lit up with delight, "I'm glad you're thinking about our relationship. And the dishes are exquisite, I'm enjoying them thoroughly. Did you prepare them yourself?"
Anahita's smile hinted at her amusement, thinking to herself, "What an idiot he is." Aloud, she said, "Of course, I prepared them myself. They're my favorites." She offered him a rare wine, "Would you like to try this? It's only served to the royal family in our kingdom."
Ravi nodded, and as he reached for the glass, Anahita insisted on serving him, her hands brushing against his as she handed him the wine.
