*Ding ding ding ding ding*
Lucy's alarm clock went off, she shot out of bed and checked the time.
L - 5:30am already?
She said with a groggy voice. She get out of bed and walk into the bathroom to wash her face and get ready for her first day as a rookie. Lucy washes her face and gets dressed in plain clothes. The nerves are creeping up her body. Endless questions and thoughts run through her mind. What if I crash the car, I mean shop on the first day? What if my T.O is rude and mean? What if...what if. Suddenly there's a knock at the door it's her daughter Lexi.
L - hey lex what are you doing up so early?
LL - no, what are you doing up so early it's 5am?
L - Remember? It's my first day as a rookie at the police station. I gotta be up early for a good first impression.
LL - oh yeah you were telling me about that last night.
L - Go get ready for school, from now on I'll be dropping you off a bit earlier then usual at school now. I'll make breakfast in a bit.
LL - ok mom!
Lucy quickly does her make up and walks into the kitchen. She cooks 8 pancakes, 4 for Lexi and 4 for herself.
L - LEXI HURRY UP I GOTTA GO!
LL - alright mom I'm coming!
Lucy and Lexi quickly eat up their pancakes and rush to the car.
L - ok, Grandmas going to pick you up today and I'll see you this afternoon, wish me luck Lex!
LL - bye mom! Love you!
Lucy drives to the station giving herself 15 minutes to spare until roll call, Lucy walks to the locker room getting dressed in her uniform. She walks out of the locker room into the roll call room where she sees Jackson and John.
J/JJ - hey Lucy!
L - hi guys
J - you excited? First day of training!
L - I'm so excited but so nervous.
J - don't be nervous, it will all be fine. But I'm not to sure bout super citizen here.
JJ - HEY!
L/J - hahaha
SG - alright, alright settle down officers, we've got some new blood here in the station. Rookies stand up, state you name and your badge number.
JJ - John Nolan badge number 25253
J - Jackson West badge number 33356
L - Lucy Chen badge number 28537
SG - you've earned a right to be in this room but you'll need to prove your selves to stay here. You'll be assigned a training officer, Lopez you get West, Harper you get the senior citizen and that leaves Bradford with Chen. That's all, good luck out there today.
Lucy looks back to see what her T.O looks like, but to her surprise it's the person whom she never thought she would see again.
