𝟐𝟏 | 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐨𝐧𝐞

So, Jeremy is dead and Elena shut it all off. Aurora was already pissed at Elena, and now she finds her even more annoying. But that is besides the point, because Elena decided to throw a party at the Salvatore boarding house.

Aurora and Caroline walk into the Salvatore Boarding house. Caroline because of Elena, and she dragged Aurora with her cause she thinks she could use a little distraction. "We got here as soon as we could. This is insane." Caroline says. "Yea, it won't last. They'll either drink all the booze and get bored or uh Damon will come home and kill everyone." Stefan says as the three of them keep walking.

"You can't compel them to leave, they all are on vervain from the town water suppply. So what do we do?" Caroline asks. "I don't know enjoy the party. Keep Elena from butchering Grove Hills cheerleading squad." Stefan suggests. "Great, where is she?" Caroline asks. "Where do you think?" Stefan replies pointing out to a dancing Elena on a table.

"I almost forgot what that looked like." Caroline comments. "What? Elena smiling?" Stefan asks. "No, fun. I mean look at her. Yes, this is all very bad, but doesn't she just makes you wanna let go?" Caroline replies. "Well, unfortunately, I have this little problem. When I, uh, party too hard, I end up killing people." Stefan says. "Well, your sober coach is giving you the green light." Caroline says as Aurora grabs the bottle of alcohol from Stefan's hand and takes a sip. 

"Come on, you are at a kegger full of hot girls. And you're single, and you're, well, you're you." Caroline says to Stefan. "WHat am I supposed to do, just grab some girl throw her over my shoulder, take her out on to the dance floor?" Stefan asks. "Just take your own advice, have fun. We deserve a little bit of fun." Caroline says. "Amen to that." Aurora says. "Okay." Stefan says and he picks up Caroline which makes her laugh. "I didn't mean me."

Aurora, Stefan and Caroline are having fun dancing and chatting. Aurora grabs another drink as Elena approaches. "Look who finally joined the party." Elena says. "Yeah, why, you jealous or something?" Stefan asks which makes Aurora let out a laugh. "No, that would imply emotions and we've established those are useless." Elena replies. "Come on, Elena, just dance with us." Caroline says. 

"No you guys look good together. By all means, just take him out for a spin. He could use it." Elena says as she walks away. Stefan clears his throat and Caroline looks awkward. "Well someone is feeling bitchy today." Aurora says. 

Elena slams Liz against the wall. Caroline rushes over and throws Elena on the side. Aurora and Stefan rush towards the scene. "Caroline, calm down." "Calm down? I'm gonna wring her skinny little neck." Caroline spats. "Oh please allow me." Aurora says but Elena already speeds away.

Aurora enters the Salvatore Boarding house. "Caroline?" She yells as she walks further into the house. "Well that's not a trio you see everyday." Aurora says as she enters a room, with Klaus, Caroline and Stefan. "What's with the serious faces?" Aurora asks. "We think Silas is in Mystic Falls." Stefan says. "What did you just say?" Aurora replies.

"What are we even looking for?" Caroline asks. "Well if Shane really was working with Silas, chances are he was helping him plan his next move." Stefan says. "Where? On his evil villain to-do list? Steal blood, perform three massacres, pick up dry cleaning?" Caroline asks. "Actually we evil villains usually use minions to pick up our dry cleaning." Klaus says making Aurora chcukle. "Why is he necessary again?" Caroline asks ignoring Klaus.

"Well we don't know what Silas can do. If we have to go head-to-head with him, and the original hybrid who can't die might come in handy." Stefan replies. "Besides Stefan and I work well together, or at least we did in the 20s." Klaus adds. "Well granted my emotions were off." "And that's why you were more fun. Just as Damon is probably relishing in Elena's emotionless company in New york." "My brother knows what he's doing." "Does he?  Don't underestimate the allure of darkness stefan. Even the purest hearts are drawn to it." Klaus says.

"Okay if you two are done with your oh-so interesting conversation, you might wanna continue with looking for something." Aurora says. "Why so grumpy love?" Klaus asks. "Maybe becausw you idiots wanted to find the cure and rose Silas, you just should've listened to me and Kol. Now Silas is in Mystic Falls, and if you excuse me I'd like to live a little logner than today." Aurora replies and Klaus chuckles.

 "Uh, I think I found something." Caroline says. "Symbolic Figures in the Dark Arts. Didn't Bonnie talk about Expression triangles? Here." She says. "In some schools of magic, such as expression,  human sacrifices can be used as a focus for power. It's rumored that the addition of two super natural sacrifices compounds the mystical energy, creating an Expression Triangle." Stefan reads out loud. "Humans, that's the council fire, demons Klau's hybrid failure." Caroline says. "Well I wouldn't exactly call it a failure." Klaus says. "What's the third?" Klaus asks. "Oh no." Caroline says.

Stefan and Aurora are walking through the woods checking one location, while Klaus and Caroline are checking the other. "Stop it's not what you think." Stefan says as he and Aurora appraoch Bonnie and the witches. "This is no place for a vampire." The witch says. "I'm not a vampire." Aurora says. "She's working for Silas." Stefan says. "Silas?" The witch asks.

"He brainwashed her to kill you." Stefan replies. "Wait what are you doing?" "If Silas has her she's lost, we can't save her." The witch says. "Wait." Stefan says but the witch uses hrr magic on him. "I have the power of twelve witches, you don't stand a chance." The witch says.

"They're linked, Bonnie's gonna kill them." "Not if they kill her first." "Klaus we have to save her." Caroline says. "How? The only way to stop the witch is to kill her, then Silas gets what he wants." Klaus replies. "Spirits, take her soul." The witch says and she starts chanting. "I can't believe I'm doing this." Aurora mumbles. "Je suis désolé pour léxil de ma tribu mais je suis désolé pour les ennuis de mon exil." Aurora chants, killing the witch, completing the triangle. "No!" Klaus yells.

"There Twelve graves for twelve witches, like it never happened." Klaus says. "Only it did happen and now Silas has everything he needs to open the gates to hell on earth." "You were gonna let Bonnie die. "I know arithmetic isn't your strong point, but one is still less than twelve." " Yea but that one is my friend." "You tell yourself whatever you need to so you can sleep at night."

"Would you shut up? I'm not proud of what I did, okay? I just killed twelve people. Yes I don't want Silas raised, but I had no choice. I couldn't let Bonnie die."

A/N:

New chapter! I don't think this chapter was that interesting, but it's more of a filler. Anyway, I'm very excited because act two is coming to an end, meaning we'll be going to New Orleans soon. Don't worry tho, we'll still see Caroline occasionally.
