"I'm sorry you can't be restored." The voice said.

"Why not?" I choked out as I could feel myself deflating. The hope that was once contained within me vanished and despair quickly returned.

"Because we can't restore you once you have been deleted from the universe." The cold, unfeeling voice answered.

"But I appealed." I said as water began to fill my eyes.

"I know but we can't restore you once you have been deleted." The voice said. "The decision is irreversible."

"Then why give me the option to appeal." I angrily shouted as the tears began to stream down my face. "Why get my hopes up?"

"Because according to the terms of service you have the right to appeal our decision." The voice said. "But we can't restore you once you've been deleted."

"Sorry." The voice said contritely.

"Screw you." I bitterly said. "And screw your apology."

"Let us know if we can be of anymore assistance."

"What assistance?" I laughed. "You have been absolutely no help. You still haven't told my what I did to deserve to deletion. What my crime was that caused me to be erased from the universe."

"We gave you a copy of the terms and services." The voice said.

"Which told me nothing." I railed in frustration. "You just gave me a list of rules but did not tell me which I violated or how I violated them. You did nothing but banish me from my universe without any warning, without giving me a chance to correct my mistake. You just callously hit a button erasing me from existence and then get my hopes by saying I could appeal the decision when you had no intention of restoring me."

"It's not fair." I cried. "It's not fair."

"Sorry you feel this way." The voice. "But your file is closed and we will not discuss the matter further."

"So what happens to me now?" I asked.

There was no answer.

I just drifted again as grief and pain began to consume. Whoever these people were who deleted me were not going to going to help me. I was condemned to drift in this void alone and forgotten seperated by from everyone who loved and cared about me.

I began to weep again cursing my fate.

And then it happened.

The gray void began to dissipate around me and I found myself standing in an empty white room.

"Hello, Avery." A voice said from behind me.

I turned to see an older teen with dark black hair.

"Avery?" I said as the fog began to lift and memories of my life began to flood my mind. "That's my name. Avery Rose."

"Yes it is." The teen smiled as he stuck his hand out. "Mine is Brody Mercer and it's a pleasure to finally meet you."

I took Brody's hand as I wondered what was going on.
