'Welcome To Hell' | 2

Song: High for this - The weekend

🔹🔹

The teenagers whispered in the midst of each other's about the two new students that will be attending the college. Apart from the murder that had occurred week before, the newcomer were the talk of the school and the talk of the town.

The Town of Alba didn't get much visitors or even new residents. It was the sort of place where everyone knew almost everyone else's occupational and secrets. The kind of habitation where new neighbours, which was quite rare, would be welcomed with cakes and gatherings. People knew each other's so well that majority of the students who attended the High school knew each other's ever since kindergarten.

One thing Alba was known for, if it had to be known for anything, was their unsolved or false imprisonment murders cases. The one police station they had in the town hid a lot of murder circumstances from the people and when it seemed hard to be covered, the people of Alba would talk about it for weeks only to easier forget if the victim was ever caught.

The last newcomers that the town had encounter was about a year ago, the Kenny's. The family moved back to New-York after the death of their daughter, Jenny, who was found in her car, pills covering the floor and the seats of her vehicle. It was announced that Jenny had killed herself. After the Kenny's family moved far away from the corrupt memories no one else had moved into the town. So to hear not one but two families were moving in surprised the citizens, causing it to be the gossip of the month.

"Jordan! It's 8:45. You will be late on your first day of school," Jordan grabbed the pillow and put it over his head, unable to resist rolling his eyes at what he found to be an annoying voice in the morning. Jordan knew he only had about 4 to 5 minutes before his crazy mother would walk in the room to get him out.

He tried closing his eyes to return back to his dream nonetheless it seemed it had disappear and he could not even remember one detail of it. Jordan hear the sound of his mother's high heels clicking on the stairs as she got closer to his bedroom.

The bedroom door squeak opened. He still refused to opens his eyes. He didn't even like school nor did he want to start going to a new one. He thought it was a waste of time. Always comparing it to his favourite scenario; would an employer ever ask at a job interview 'what did you get in your science test or math?' As for the students that attended schools, he found them foolish and too attracted to what society would think of themselves. In Jordan's opinion he thought, for god sake the moment a person would enter a school ground, they were automatically observed, judge and placed in a group that 'suited them''.

Cold water touched Jordan's body and he jumped up to see his mother smiling with a bucket in her hands.

'Mom!' He shrieked, fully awake, 'that's not even cool,' he could see the playful smirk drawn on her face. It seemed she like was trying to keep a serious face but failed as she busted into laughter. He rolled his eyes at how childish his mother could be sometimes but a part of him loved that about her, the fact that she didn't take life so serious like most parents. He would never admit that to her though.

'I'll get you back for this!' he growled as he got out of his bed and headed for the bathroom.

'Hurry up you're late to school, you only have ten minutes in there before I go in and get you,'

Grabbing the bath towel that was on a hanger he entered the bathroom, registering his mother's warning knowing she would enter and pull him out if he didn't get out before ten minutes.
