When Ha-rin returned to the Lee Clan, she was a changed person. Her demeanor had hardened; she was colder and more distant than before. Dong-hyun noticed the shift but couldn’t pinpoint the cause. His concern grew as he saw the stark contrast in her behavior.

Meanwhile, Joon-young, seated casually and eating a piece of bread, observed Ha-rin with a detached curiosity. He showed no outward concern for her change in demeanor, merely taking another bite as he watched her with a hint of indifference.

Dong-hyun approached Ha-rin, trying to bridge the gap that had formed. “Ha-rin, you’ve been different since you came back. Is something bothering you?”

Ha-rin’s eyes remained steely, her tone clipped. “I’m fine. Just dealing with things in my own way.”

Dong-hyun hesitated, clearly troubled by her response. “If you need to talk or anything, I’m here.”

Joon-young glanced up from his bread, his expression unreadable. “Seems like you’ve got your own problems to handle. Good luck with that.”

Ha-rin ignored Joon-young’s remark and walked away. The two of them exchanged confused glances as Ha-rin walked away. Joon-young’s bread fell to the ground, and he stared at it in disbelief.

“What the—? That was the last piece,” he muttered, clearly irritated. “What a hassle.” (what a baby😫 kawaiiiii)

Dong-hyun looked at Joon-young with mild annoyance, sensing the lack of empathy. “Focus on something more important, Joon-young.”

Joon-young grumbled as he picked up the fallen bread, brushing it off and taking a small bite despite the dirt. “Can’t believe I’m stuck with this,” he mumbled, shaking his head.(No it's dirty baby😤)

Dong-hyun watched him with a mix of exasperation and concern. “Maybe you could try being a bit more understanding. Ha-rin’s obviously going through something difficult.”

Joon-young shrugged, chewing his bread with a nonchalant attitude. “Not my problem. People have their issues. I’m just here for the food.”

Dong-hyun sighed, knowing that Joon-young’s attitude was unlikely to change. He decided to focus on trying to support Ha-rin in whatever way he could. With that resolve, he turned and headed in the direction Ha-rin had gone, determined to find a way to help her through whatever struggles she was facing.

One night, Ha-rin ventured outside, seeking solace under the stars. As she walked, she heard a familiar, soothing melody drifting through the cool air. The song was beautiful, its notes carrying a sense of peace that momentarily eased the weight of her troubles.

Drawn to the sound, Ha-rin followed the melody until she reached a quiet spot where Joon-young was seated on a low wall, singing softly to himself. The moonlight illuminated his face, casting a serene glow around him.(From the chapter 7🤫)

Surprised, Ha-rin watched him for a moment, her usual cold demeanor softened by the unexpected display of vulnerability. Joon-young’s voice, usually so indifferent, conveyed a deep sense of longing and emotion.

She approached quietly, not wanting to interrupt. As she neared, Joon-young stopped singing and turned to look at her, his expression a mix of surprise and mild irritation.

“What are you doing here?” he asked, trying to mask the awkwardness of being caught in such a personal moment.

Ha-rin hesitated, her eyes reflecting a flicker of appreciation. “I didn’t know you could sing like that. It’s... beautiful.”

Joon-young’s gaze softened slightly, though he quickly regained his composure. “It’s just something I do when I’m alone. Helps me clear my head.”

Ha-rin nodded, feeling a rare moment of connection. “Thank you for sharing it.”

Joon-young shrugged, the tension easing. “Don’t mention it. It’s just a song.”

They stood in silence for a few moments, the melody lingering in the air, creating an unexpected bridge between them. For a brief instant, their mutual disdain was overshadowed by a shared, quiet understanding.
