"Hyunie~" Taehyun groaned when the annoying voice of his best friend ringed in his ear. He didn't even even need to look at the younger to realize the teasing tone of him.

He knew what he would tease and talk about. And trust him, he is not ready to deal with this shits. It's confusing the hell out of him and his annoying best friend has to make things worse by pointing out every single detail.

"What is it now?" Taehyun really didn't want to come off this rude or straight forward. It just came out.

"Wah, how nice of you to talk to your best friend like that." Hueningkai said obviously sarcastically.

"Anyways, it doesn't matter. You gotta listen to me anyway." The younger stated with a definite amount of sass making Taehyun face palm himself.

"Are you okay?" Now the older got confused hearing this query. He really thought the younger male will bombard him with the questions he least wanted to answer.

"I am okay? Why though?"

"Silly- I meant, are you sane? After getting to hold Beomgyu hyung unexpectedly so close. I almost cooed out loud." Taehyun sat there staring at the latter with his typical poker face having a strong urge to rip out the younger's head.

Speaking of it, he really did get kind of taken aback after accidentally getting so darn close to Beomgyu at that time. Physically. Taehyun isn't really a big fan of skin-ships, he is okay only with those close to him.

But he didn't feel a single negative emotion being so close to this 'rival' and it was absolutely absurd.

"Hello hyunie? To earth?" Hueningkai clicked his fingers bringing Taehyun out of his mind consuming thoughts.

"You know, you are really odd right now. Which makes things more worse and much more eye catching. For me especially."

Now that piqued his interest. He really didn't feel any change in himself. What was the younger talking about?

"What do you mean?"

"Awee I really thought you were smart. Anyways. Why do you think I suddenly asked you that question yesterday?" The latter gulped.

"Because you are nosy?" Hueningkai was this close to throw hands at him.

"Stupid. It's you. Your attitude. Your behavior. Did you even realize how much soft you got with Beomgyu hyung specially? Even with us? I don't mean it in any other meaning. But this change really did make a huge difference. Even if we have been friends for so long, we got even more closer bond wise. That's a huge thing. And I can't believe you missed that."

Taehyun really had to take all that in for a few minutes as he sputtered out breathlessly-

"I see. But why do you have to link all this things with that Choi?"

"Because it's him. Only because of him. I strongly believe this. Admit it Tae that you indeed like him. It won't hurt. Also academic rivals to sweethearts is a known thing."
