After that night, when Yeonjun and Soobin both got stuck in the library, the whole friend group didn't take long to understand that things had gotten cool between the two.

Maybe a bit too cool.

But everything was going so well, why would anyone question it? So they let it be.

Beomgyu was sitting in his class as usual waiting for their teacher to come and announce the results of the most recent quiz and few exams taken before the semester final.

Yeah, don't forget that they are still university students. Aside from dealing with life, they gotta deal with this extra shits as well. Now that the male was sitting quitely for a while, he realizes that it has been actually a while since he joined this place.

Approximately seven months. Damn now that he thinks way back, it really felt like time flew. And not to mention his university life has been nothing but exciting is various aspects. No sarcasm. He is serious.

A soft chuckle left his lips, as he gave all this things a thought definitely catching a familiar younger male's attention. It has to be our sharp eyed Hueningkai always.

"What are you thinking hyung~" Beomgyu doesn't even need to turn to Hueningkai to see the smile on the latter's face. He could literally hear it through his voice. He just laughed and said-

"Thinking about how the time meticulously flew by. It's already been almost seven months I joined this place. Can you believe that?" Beomgyu smiled more like grinned playfully. Hueningkai made a cute "oh" face and nodded in amusement.

"Now that I think about this. It's damn true."

With a slight break after this statement, Hueningkai asked something he was quite curious about.

"Hyung?"

"Hmm?"

"This past seven months you spent here, did you like it?" Beomgyu really had to chuckle at how serious the younger sounded asking that.

"Of course. It's been lowkey exciting. I have to admit. Also I got some lovely friends too. How can I not enjoy?" Beomgyu finally let the urge of pinching the younger male's cheeks loose, as he proceeded to do it, eventually squishing the cheeks of the latter in pure adoration making him giggle.

"Hyung!! My cheeks are not plushies."

With a giggle, Beomgyu added-

"Even better than plushies, cutie pie." He finally bopped the younger's button nose. The younger male was like a younger brother figure to Beomgyu, which is why he always felt like he had to spoil the name with tons of affections and love. And he definitely loved doing so.

"Geez, you two are being so affectionate. What's with the sudden overflowing love?" Yeonjun teased from the other side laughing at the two. They just laughed at the humor.

"Well hyung! Hueningkai is just existing. And Here I feel like squishing the life out of his cheeks. He is cute." Beomgyu ruffled the younger's hair making him shake his head.

"Operation of protecting Hueningkai's cheeks activated." That alone was enough for Beomgyu and Yeonjun to laugh out loud at the younger.

Somewhat between their laughter, another pair of eyes and ears were also fixed upon them. And again, that male couldn't help but feel slightly bitter at how openly they could communicate with each other.
