Ep - 22 [ 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒅𝒐𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 ]

** 𝐉𝐨𝐨𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐎𝐕 **

Kate and I couldn't get return tickets from California to South Korea but once we got we immediately flew back . The whole week has been overwhelmed with different emotions. Only the bad ones. As soon as we stepped inside Hyung's room Kate and I both got still. It was too hurtful to watch. Serah was reaching the bed by holding her stick . A sob broke from Kate's mouth making Serah look towards us.

" Who is that ? "  My heart shattered in few pieces. I watched Serah grew up laughing, giggling. Seeing me getting excited. But today she didn't even understand I was standing in front of her , her best friend was standing in front of her..  Kate immediately hugged Serah .. she haltes back a little before composing herself hugging Kate back tightly.

" How the hell all these happened? " Kate cried out as Serah just hugged her more tightly and smiled. That's a genuine smile. Not the sad smile people will give if they lose their eye sight.  " I'll be fine in few months"
Serah said softly. So confident and happy. Why? Is she trying to be strong? I walked closer enveloping Serah and Kate both in my arms Serah immediately said " Jooha I'm fine" Her voice assuring.

" But we are not fucking fine seeing you like this babygirl " I whispered, gosh it pains me seeing my best friend like + sister like Serah in such vulnerable state.

"Serah , I'm sorry I wasn't there . I should been with you " Kate said sobbing hardly as Serah kept patting her softly. " None of this is your fault or my fault , it's just my fate " Serah said again with softness in her voice.

" Who the hell did this to you? " I was suddenly no longer hurt, I was furious. I wanted to knock out that person's eyes for making Serah go through this much pain.
" I found her , don't worry " a deep gruntled voice reached us . It was hyung, he looked absolutely wrecked.

" Yoongi, you really found her ? " A shock tone rasps out from Serah as Hyung came closer wrapping his arms around Serah's waist.  " I did sweetheart, I'll se her tomorrow morning" Hyung said with gentle voice.. Kate and I stood beside them I wrapped my hand around Kate's shoulder. " I'm coming too " I said without leaving any room for Hyung to argue as he just nodded. Kate and I left Hyung's room giving them privacy as I took Kate inside my room .

" Get fresh. I'll talk to Hyung. " I left her in my room without letting her respond to me ,  closing the door behind. I saw Hyung going towards kitchen I followed him behind.

" Hyung" he stopped on his track looking at me with blank expression. I was always scared of Hyung. I barely talk with him but today I didn't felt scared. I immediately hugged him tightly walking towards him ,  he let out a small gasp . I didn't care I hugged him more tighter.

"Hyung, it hurts seeing you going through so much, alone " fuck I was so close to crying but I tried to held back. I did but when Hyung hugged me back my tears fell down my cheeks. Gosh I've never felt so vulnerable.
" Stop acting like kid Jooha, you are 30 " Hyung said his strict words as always but it lacked his usual annoying demoner, it was more like a soft caressing by his voice.

I held my brother like that. I just  wanted him to know no matter what I'm there for him. I hope he knows it. I hope he trusts me enough for that.
" You are the strongest person I know, you are my idol, you've always been, and you'll always will Hyung. " I said with shaky tone I felt Hyung doing shooting circles on my back when he is breathing heavily himself.
