“Welcome home."
His heart stiffened as a gasp escaped his trembling lips, at the extremely calm voice of the latter. The unusual tranquility seemed to presage the upcoming storm, successfully.
Taking a deep breath which came out shaken, Seokjin was still contemplating whether to face him or not when a sudden grip over his wrist made him turn back abruptly.
He helped in utter fright, as he found himself looking straight into the latter's dark stormy orbs. Too dark for his liking.
He quickly avoided those nightmares, his trembling lashes casted down gradually, unknowingly satisfying the towering male.
Taehyung took a step back, leaving some space between them without letting go of Jin’s left wrist, taking his time to read the mellow guy's expression. His unkempt appearance was visible enough to clear his earlier doubts.
Definitely out.
Jin could feel the oblivious tension in the air but that wasn't not as uncomfortable as being watched over under someone's spine-chilling gaze, especially this male right here, standing over him with a cold and dominant personality.
That feeling was suffocating. As if he was exposed, without even coming up with excuses. Jin despised getting stuck in these types of situations, where he perceives how vulnerable he gets in latter's hold.
“Where were you?" First question sounded in a quite harsh yet dangerously low tone. A visible shudder ran through Jin’s drenched body. His eyes shut tightly in fear.
"I-I c-can e-x-plain—Ahhhh!”
Jin yelped as Taehyung let go of his wrist, pushing him on the closed door roughly, making him staggered.
“You are hell bent on defying me, no? Trying to be rebellious, I see.”
Taehyung’s uneven breathing showed how enraged he was. His slow approaching steps towards a severely trembling Jin, made the latter more terrified.
His shaking body slid down the door, going further in the corner. His flailing arms trying to hug his own knees in trepidation.
His panic-stricken eyes started tearing up as he noticed the familiar pair of feet relaxing in front of himself. He was trying to shrink back further even when there was no space for him to move an inch.
Taehyung lazily squatted down in front of the male who was trying to disappear in his own embrace. He promptly asked,
“Are you scared?"
It was more than obvious, but he still insisted, loving the way Seokjin’s lean body shook in tremor. But no response was heard by the latter.
The taller male sighed in contempt, continued further with disappointment,
“It would have been much better if you had been scared, then we wouldn't have been facing this situation. It's not enough I guess..”
"N-No.. I-I'm s-sorry.. I'm r-really s-sorry—”
The merely audible apology came lowly but the panic in his voice was crystal clear but before he could have pleaded more, a thunderous voice resonated, flinching an already scared Jin in the process,
“What are you sorry for Seokjin?! Why are you getting scared now?! Did someone force you to go against me? Did anyone force you to prove yourself a rebel? Did someone fucking tell you ignore my words? No, right?! You did everything at your fucking own will, nobody told you to do so! What does it mean?!”
“... "
“That only means you are getting bold, Seokjin. Strong enough to challenge me…. and if you have the courage to break rules or overstep the boundaries, then be a man to face the consequences as you know I don't tolerate disobedience.”
