How's the story so far?
Are you here for Jikook or Taejin?

.Jin quietly got off from the bed, shutting the ringing alarm behind. He watched as the taller male turned to the other side but continued to sleep soundly, pulling his duvet up a bit, which was already covered until his neck.
No time to waste, Jin.
He sighed as he made his way to the bathroom to finish his morning routine and be done with the shower before the sleeping man woke up.
Without wasting further, he dashed towards his walk-in-closet to get his stuff. After thirty minutes, he was all ready to go downstairs.
A lot to do today.
His inner side said tiredly as he watched the laundry bag overfilled with Taehyung’s clothes, unwashed dishes stacked up in the sink, and not to talk about the dusty floor.
I wish I could hire a maid.
His mind then trailed off to the horrible incident, which happened four nights ago, that left him completely shattered and broken. He remembered how awfully he cried the whole night, sitting in the same position, until morning.
Maybe that's why there's no more tears left for me to shed, I guess.
It's his fifth day of being locked, basically under house arrest. He adjusted with the single thought of ‘at least I'm allowed to roam within the boundaries of the apartment and not be caged up in a single room instead’.
He sometimes laughed at his pathetic self, that no matter whatever situation is or however the condition gets, he still found ways to compromise.
Nothing bad though.
Not everyone is lucky enough to live according to their will, allowed to do things as they deemed fit and chase dreams until they turn into reality.
Some wings are meant to be broken and so are the dreams.
"No, no more crying. It's for the best. I'm free from one more of his shackles. Yes, please concentrate on your due chores, Jin…please do not cry."
Jin pleaded inwardly, fighting the urge to cry yet once again, as the unbearable pain of his already crushed dreams evoked a turmoil in his heart.
What's the point of crying anyway? He has to resign either that day or later. The more he would've dragged this matter, the more his heart had been unwilling to do so. At least he has accepted his reality.
This is my life from now on.
He wiped the single tear-stain which had escaped from the corner of his eyes, unintentionally, as he didn't want to lament over the poignant memories. It's of no use.
He had already resigned from the University with the help of JK as the procedure for resigning as a professor in his university typically involved many steps like informing the department Dean of your intention to resign, usually 3-6 months prior to the desired departure date.
But as it was urgent and Seokjin’s relationship and name has always been prestigious, the Dean complied. He then submitted a formal resignation letter to the university administration, obviously JK was the mode of transportation again.
About attending the meeting with the department faculty to discuss the implications of his resignation and potential successors, he held it online.
Once obtaining the approval from the university's personnel, he ensured a smooth transition by handing over his responsibilities, including teaching duties, research projects, and administrative tasks, through phone, ofcourse.
