Once Upon a Time

☆~Once upon a time, humans and fae lived together in harmony and peace for many years across the four magical realms, each aiding the other in the Other World: faes with their magic and human with their wisdom.~☆

The other World once was divided into four kingdoms: The Kingdom of Clouds, The Kingdom of Stars, The Kingdom of Snow and Ice, and The Kingdom of Light.  In this world faes and humans lived together as united species. There has never been a conflict between species, and the four kingdoms have always been in agreement. Happiness was always a part in this world.

The happiness and peace between species ended at the Great War.

The war started when another kingdom came into view. This kingdom was unheard of anyone, fae or human; it laid too distant in the Other World. This Kingdom appeared into sight and scared every living creature in the world because it was too black, with evil creatures different from fae and human, with different magic. Dark Magic. 

This kingdom presented itself as ''The Dark Kingdom'' and caused chaos in our peaceful world. The four other kingdoms were shocked and scared, because the creatures from the dark kingdom weren't ordinary... no they were far from it.

The Dark Kingdom's creatures were dark wilders, with dark magic, no human nor fae. They could take the soul out of a fae or a human with just one look, they wielded shadows and darkness itself. They cursed and summoned, they were vampires who took human blood and fae magic, they were all monsters with dark magic.

The Dark Kingdom became too dangerous for the four other kingdoms in place. It putted the lives of human and fae in danger, but mostly it was more dangerous for the Kingdom of Light. The Dark Kingdom has no lights in it, no sun, only the full moon putting a glimpse of light on the place. Thats why this kingdom became mostly dangerous for the Kingdom of Light. The dark wielders were stealing the light on the Kingdom of Light and kidnapping fae who wielded light magic. 

One day when the war became unbearable, and the people became too desperate, the four Kingdoms' royals held a council together and decided to shut the dark wielders away from our place. They wielded a magic together and blocked the Dark Kingdom away from our territory. They putted an invisible barrier around the Dark Kingdom that the dark wielders could never cross. The barrier is indestructible and no living creature with magic could destroy.

Now there are five kingdoms on the Other World: The Kingdom of Clouds, The Kingdom of Stars, The Kingdom of Snow and Ice, The Kingdom of Light, and the forbidden one, The Dark Kingdom.

The wind of whispers says that there is a dark wielder who can pass the barrier. She says that this dark wielder has both magic, dark and light one. If this wielder...

''Evangeline!" someone calls, and I close the book, pushing it under my pillow. 

I straighten on my bed and push my curly blonde hair out of my face, waiting for the person who called to come in.

"Evangeline," the voice calls again, and a big grin splashes across my face as I recognize to whom it belongs. ''Alora!'' I shout and get up from my bed, running in her direction.

''Hello'' she smiles opening her arms wide as I approach her with a hug.
''Oh, I missed you so much.'' I say sinking in her embrace.

Alora is the princess of the Kingdom of Stars, she's a whole two kingdoms away from me. It's hard to have your best friend living days away from you. 

We met years ago at the age of five during a kingdom's reunion. Since that time, we have remained inseparable, growing closer with each passing year. Now she's my best friend and we visit each other once a month or if we're not lucky we stay months without seeing each other.
