Sierra wait for an hour at the restaurant wondering when will her boyfriend show up. What if he never come but an handsome blond man sit down in front of her?
"Shit." Is all Sierra was able to say when she recognized Max. She felt like she had embarrassed herself the last time they met. Carmen heard the girl swears and asked her if she was ok to which Sierra answered that everything was alright. The primary school teacher spend the whole night trying to avoid Max but everything has an end and for Sierra this end came around ten pm when her and Carmen went to the bathroom.
The two girls were getting out of the bathroom laughing together when Sierra's heals got stuck in something which made the girl fall on the ground hurting her ankle. "Ouch!" Sierra shouted from the pain. "Sierra are you hurt. Sorry stupid question. Where are you hurt?" Carmen asked with concerns in her voice. "My ankle." Sierra said pain filling her voice. The accident had attracted attention and when Sierra turned her head she saw Max standing there with a worried look on his face. Sierra tried to move her ankle but it's was hurting really bad " I don't think it's broken but I definitely can't walk at the moment." "I can lift you and take you to a chair if you want." Max suggested to which Sierra agreed. The two time world champion carried the girl in a bridal style and gently put her down on a comfy chair and lifted her leg on an other chair in front of her. Max then mysteriously disappeared when Carmen arrived where the teacher was.
The two girls where in the middle of a conversation when Max reappeared holding something in his hand. "I'm sorry to interrupt you but I've got a bag of ice to put on your ankle." He said handing the bag to Sierra. "thank you so much. You can sit with us if you want" the injured girl said while putting the ice on her ankle. The three of them talked about how Sierra and Max met but at the end of the story Carmen excused herself saying that she was going to see George leaving the duo alone.
After a slight moment of awkward silence Max decided to talk "So what have you been up to since we met ?" "I broke up with Quentin and enjoyed my life going on a daily walk, trying to be the best teacher possible and seeing my parents more often than I used to. And you?" Max didn't show it but knowing that Sierra was single made his heartbeat speed up a little. "Well I've been driving a fast car around weird shaped racetrack and traveling every week to go to the next race. You know the usual." The way Max described his work made Sierra chuckle. " I always wanted to travel around the world but I've only been to France, Canada, Italy and Monaco you are so lucky to have a job that allows you to do it so much. Don't get me wrong I love my work but I can't really travel during the year and in the summer break I can't really afford to go far." " Yeah I am lucky that my work allows me to travel a lot but I don't get to see a lot of the cities that we are in because I'm often at the track or at the hotel preparing for the race and when I finally get to go outside there's fans coming to take pictures with me. But I also love my work and I understand that being famous comes with it it's just annoying sometimes." "It's understandable that you are annoyed from the fact that you basically don't have a private life anymore. I would be to famous life is not really for me."
Max and Sierra talked for the rest of the night. People were slowly leaving to go get some sleep and Carmen and George had left earlier making sure that Sierra would have a ride back to which max said that he'd be driving her home. At one in the morning they both realized that there was nobody left on the boat so they decided to call it a night. When they got in the car Sierra asked Max if she could put on some music and he said yes so she putted on some Taylor Swift song and sang along with it making max chuckle. The rest of the car ride had consisted of the two of them chuckling at sierra's singing talent that was nonexistent but it didn't last long because Monaco is quite small. Max helped Sierra to get to her apartment once they got there they exchanged phone number and social media and hugged each other before Max left.
Sierra got ready to go to bed trying to not put her weight on her injured ankle. When she finally got to bed she did her little check on her phone texting a few people and going on her social media.

I'm so sorry this is so short and it took so long but I have a quite good excuse. I posted the chapter and then wanted to delete the ones that weren't good but I accidentally deleted the good one so I had to rewrite it and I'm really bad at writing the way they met I'm excited for their dates and when they know each other well.
Wtf was the race last weekend I was so happy that George won and then you tell me he actually didn't. And why is Carlos joining my team?!?! Logan is definitely going to indycar next year and I'm here for it.
