Weeks passed since her trip to Sydney and their one months anniversary was nearing. For the past few weeks, the couple had seen each other twice due to the possibility of people finding out about their relationship too early, and it was mostly when the boy was out there for business or doing his break there from playing.

He never chose to fly to other countries for his break, ever since the couple was a thing back in October. He either chose to fly out to LA and spend the time with Nalani there, or take her with him on Vacation abroad.

But the one month anniversary wasn't the only thing that was nearing.

So was Nalani's 20th birthday.

For months she has been planning, if she'd rather stay home with her closer circle and do a celebration of their own or if she should invite everyone she was friends with and throw a big birthday party in some fancy building.

She chose the second option.

She was turning 20 after all.

She was currently in one of the buildings, that she had contacted the owner of, to look around in, in the past few days.

It was a huge mansion - mainly meant for parties, with loads of space and beautiful furniture. Besides that, there was a corner for the artists or djs, that the birthday people book out for their parties, where they could perform on stage without blocking out the space for the guests.

And at last what shocked her, was the rather light glittery interior. She imagined party mansions to be rather dark, to give more the vibe of the party, but as the owner has shown her the different lightning functions, the vibe was just the same.

She continued on walking and as she looked to her right, there was a huge staircase leading from upstairs, which had beautifully carved vintage details on the sides.

"this is where you can have your princess moment by walking down and welcoming your guests", the older lady who owned the mansion, smiled.

Nalani smiled at the lady and walked up the first step. "and how does it look like with paparazzis out here?"

She didn't want to risk it with exposing Jude, Jobe and the others on attending her birthday party as it would've caused another stir and people would start to theorize their possible comeback before they even decide to announce themselves.

"it is a free paparazzi zone", the lady nodded her head. "there was an incident with a smaller celebrity once and ever since, we've put more work into our stars privacy."

"that's nice", the brunette nodded. "i think this place will be perfect."

"happy to hear that", the woman smiled. "if you want we can head to the office and finish up the final signatures", she suggested as she stared at the girl and her manager.

The girl nodded and the duo got led to the other building towards the office, revealing the cozy room with a wooden desk at the front.

The older lady invited the two women to sit on the clear chairs and proceeded to open her Macbook. She threw a look on her notes, which she had finished in the other building and looked at Nalani from behind the screen.

"was it 40 people, yeah?"

"yes", nalani nodded.

She had already invited everyone by now. Maybe it wasn't the best plan to invite everyone first, then look for a place but the place that she had just visited was just perfect and it was all that mattered.
