Here at Bluelands school of fine arts we take the class Ancient Weapons 101 VERY seriously. It may seem like a weird class for a bunch of fine arts kids to be intersted in, but I wouldn't say that its necessarly the class that we like so much.
The teacher Horace Baker. He's a mysterious man, but that's what makes him more interesting. It's not that we all have a crush on him, it's more that his mysterious nature is intreging to us and makes the class more intersting. The stories he tells about the certain artifacts and adventures never seem to get old in his class. It's astonishing that he knows so much on this subject, especially since he is only 25. To me, that's just too young for a teacher. But what do I know? I'm just a kid.
The extensive collection of different knives, daggers, swords, and just any ancient weapons is astonishing. No one knows where they all came from, or if they're real. Mr. Baker never talks about his personal life beyond the stories he tells in class. The tall tales that seem more like exsagerations entertain and help the students learn about the artifact we are learning about at the time. With how much detail he uses it almost seems like he was there in person. But that's not possible. The stories, more often than not, are placed over 100 years ago.
Do you think he's supernatural? Perhaps immortal?
I guess we'll never know.

"Miss Hampton, Can you please answer the question on the board?" I look up from my notebook to meet the soft brown eyes of the teacher that are hidden behind some thin framed brown glasses. I glance at the board where the question is posted "What ancient weapon was most commonly used in ancient Scotland?"
"You havn't taught us this yet, Mr. Baker. How would I know the answer?"
"Perhaps you would if you were paying attention in class instead of drawing in that journal of yours." He rases his eyebrows at me. His short, brown, curly hair falling slighting into his eyes as he leans forward putting his hands on the edge of the desk.
"Not to be rude sir, but class did just start. There is no way that within those 5 seconds of class starting you dished out information to the whole class about what weapons were used in ancient Scotland." My response brings a smile to his face.
"Good. You're learning." I roll my eyes. This guy makes no sense. I look back down at my notebook and the drawing on it's pages. A beautiful ruogh sketch of the teacher. While he isn't my type, you have to admit he is beautiful. His sharp jawline and 6' 2" stature add up among his other features. It's almost surreal. Like aphrodite herself sculpted this man.
"Before we offically dive into the ancient weapons used by those in ancient scottish history I feel it best for you to understand the culture and folklore of Scotland. Scottish folklore has to be one of my favorite to learn and teach about. From the lochness monster to kelpies there are lots to learn."
I study the picture in my notebook as Mr. Baker continues on with class. The drawing is almost done except for a couple of small details. Just looking at the picture you can tell something is missing even if you can't find just what it is yet. Slowly I lift my eyes to look at the teacher. The fit white button up shirt fits around his torso like a glove. The long sleeves of the shirt are rolled up to his elbows showing off his arms and his classic gold watch that he always wears. The outfit is paired with some dark brown dress pants with a belt to hold them up. He always seems to be dressed up, more than most teachers around here normally would. While it is normal for some history teachers to dress rather similarly, I don't think that everyday they would wear suits to class. Especially when he is constantly outside working with the gardening club.
