I woke up with an odd feeling, it was morning still and I looked around, the place seemed silent and yet I wasn't sure. The fact that the ancestors had ceased to allow me to use them as an anchor has lacked me more energy than I like to admit, and that forces me to turn to my mother's magic... Black magic, as the one I created- White magic- the pure manipulation of nature without hurting or stealing or having a price to pay- is not really for any other purpose other than defense... I took a deep breath and spelled the words to call upon the black energy, I hadn't done it in since the last time we put our mother back to grave, at Mystic Falls-

2011, Mystic Falls

Elijah Mikaelson

We had all turned against Niklaus- It had been quiet a spectacular moment, Finn, Kol, Rebekah and I we were all fed up with his threats, he couldn't materialize them if were all united. I wish Eli was here too, she is the only one missing, she is always missing the past centuries, I always feel like she is punishing herself ever since 1945 when we had to flee New Orleans. Finn, Niklaus and Kol were annoyed, almost angered at her absent and neutral posture, therefore I couldn't be.

Niklaus was standing before us tongue tied, he was trying to convince us on our own distraction if we didn't obey, but he paused when the door opened- And now we shared the same reaction. A woman was standing before us and she walked casually straight to Niklaus, I felt as if I was caught in a ill joke, as if I had lost every single braincell, my siblings seemed to have the same ponders, but the woman spoke.

"I am here to forgive my children and love them" she spoke and turned around, her gaze hovering to each one of us. "My dearest Lizabetah is the only one missing- I do not blame her and neither should . I wish for us to be a family again-." She requested and we all looked at each other. "Lijah- I am certain that our sweet girl would be glad to hear from you that I want her here with us." Mother spoke approaching me. She held my hand and I looked at the rest.

"Perhaps it is better if we let her be-." I tried to dodge her inclusion in the family matters, I know Eli would appreciate it.

"Dearest, I am sure she would like to learn of her husband and daughter- I wish I could bring the sweet girl along-." My mother insisted and I felt my stomach twist at the mention of our niece, I think everyone was feeling the same way...

"I will do as you wish mother." I responded, I obeyed for one reason and only. It had been centuries since Eli had acted on our mother's lessons of magic, I wasn't sure if mother knew. I moved out of the room seeking for some privacy typing her number. No one had her number other than me.

"Hello?" I heard her voice after months. It had been hard not having my twin around, I missed her presence, her advice and her constant irony.

"Eli? Its me... How have you been?" I spoke, I knew she would recognize my voice immediately. Besides I was the only one calling her Eli.

"'Lijah, oh my-." The sparkle in her voice returned as she heard me, I knew she missed me as much as I did. "I am still remembering to drink water to stay alive so I'd say I'm in the right direction." She joked, it was a joke since we were newly turned, the only member that didn't feed in blood- the only one with human needs. "The question is, how are you? Since Bekah is back and so are the other two trouble makers are alive too- Are you handling it well? I mean with the whole revolution against Klaus." She questioned me, there wasn't much true spark in her voice, she was a brilliant actress and enchantress but she could never act past me.

"They are getting along- that plan is actually postponed until further notice." I responded slowly filling her in the recent news.

"Oh- Sticking together as one always and forever will work always and forever I suppose... Such sentimental brats the lot of us is." Eli responded with a snort, I was hearing water flowing, she must be at her beloved garden, agriculture has won her over the years.
