I turned around with a slight smile, but saw... a basket ball suddenly striked on her forehead...! My expression turned into shock while her bright grin broke. The whole moment felt decelerated for me.
Her body was falling down, with goggles broken down from its hinge and its cracked glasses shredded into pieces. A few drops of blood shred out as her head had wounded. Everything was so sudden that I couldn't do anything.
But at that time, I also couldn't help but notice those confidential eyes of hers being exposed underneath those glass shreds, which I'd never ever seen before. And... . . . . .
