Coffee and Companionship: a Doggirl's story!

CHAPTER 1: Start of my week.

As i open the door to the store's entrance, i walk in to see Jon, my co-worker. 
"What are you doing here, i thought you went home?" she said.
"Actually, I requested to work overtime because I really need the extra money right now." Jon says.
i frown while annoyed that he's here, cause he's usually doing nothing workwise, mostly playing games on his phone.
"Whatever, look, you need to start working. Boss wants you to start not playing on that damn phone for once."
Jon would shrug and laugh
"Ash, not sure why you care so much, this is a dead end job anyways." Jon says.

"Oh really? then WHY did you pick this job?" she says, her tail wagging.
"I needed the money, Ashley." Jon says.
"So you could sit on your ass and play on a phone? You won't get ANY money that way." she says.
Randomly, rain would start pouring outside, even though the rain chance was pretty low.
"... Really? Rain? just what i needed.." she says.
*she would turn on the open sign*
"Customers should arrive soon, you should at least restock the shelves." she said. 

*** 30 MIN LATER ***
The door's bell rings, a guy came inside, he had black fur, neon green stripes, black hair, and blue eyes.
"Oh, hi! Do you know where the frozen foods at?" The Guy said.
"Oh.. yes, they're at the back of the store.. to your left." she said

*The Guy would walk over to the frozen foods section, pull out a box of fish sticks, and bring them to the counter*
"Here is what i want, ma'am." The Guy said.
"Okay.. that'll be $9.42." she said.
*He'd give the money*
"Thanks for coming.." she said.
The guy would leave the store, the door bell ringing as he left into the calming rain.

"Hey Jon!! are you gonna restock or no??" she'd exclaim in annoyance.
"Holy fuck, ash.. would you hold on?" Jon would say.
I roll my eyes in annoyance as he keeps sitting on his phone, texting away to that new girl he went on a date with.
"Fine, Jon, I'll handle it." she said.
I grab the boxes and put the products onto the shelf, counting how many and going down each aisle one product at a time.
"What a workout.. those boxes were heavy." she'd say. 
*she'd open the break room door.*

"Jon, what the fuck?" she'd exclaim.
"What?!" Jon said.
I'd grab his arm and tug it to try and get him to work the register.
"If you don't help me, I'm gonna tell the boss, and im pretty sure he's gonna be pissed hearing about what you've been doing recently." she said.
"Whatever, fuck it." Jon said.
I'd watch as he gets up from his seat, angrily walking towards the door
"Jon.. all i need is a break, you have to at LEAST work with me.. just this one time." she said.
He'd work on the register, calmly helping out the customers who came in, until, his ex arrived.
"What the FUCK are you doing here?!" Jon exclaims
His loud yelling woke me up.
*she'd slam open the door*
"JON, BE AT LEAST QUIET!!" she'd say.
I turn my head over to his ex, who was a.. Australian Shephard.
Her name was Glace.
"Oh, hi Glace." Ashley said.
*Glace would wave back happily*
"Jon, look, i know you had your differences with her but please be calm about it, work it out." she said.

I would close the door, going back to my break, and falling asleep.
"Glace, please leave." Jon said.
"No, why should i? All i need is just a couple things and i'll go." Glace said.
"Okay, whatever, fine." Jon says.
Glace would walk and get a couple products, a box of Dog Treats, a Root Beer, and a Band-Aid box.
"Here, this is all i need, Jon." Glace says.
"Mmmm.. okay you need to pay about 14.95." Jon says.
*Glace would give him the money.*
"There, and please be nice for once.. i mean me and you are both looking the same, we're the same breed of dog." Glace says.
"I know, whatever, have a nice day." Jon shrugs and goes back to doing the register.
"Okay.. bye then." Glace said as she left the store, the bell ringing as she went into the earthy smelling air after the rain stopped.
Jon would open the break room door.
"Ashley, time to go home, its about 7 A.M."
As i woke up, i see Jon towering over me as i sit on the chair.
"Oh, its been that long.. god damn." she said.
*she'd get up and walk outside into the earthy smelling air of the morning after the pouring rain.*
"Bye, Jon, see you later." she'd say as she got into to her maroon colored car and drove off.
** 15 MINUTES LATER ** 
"Finally home.. finally get to relax.. just once.." she'd say as she got out the car and walked inside her home.
*she'd lay onto the couch, her tail wagging slowly, and her ears twitching as she fell asleep.*
As i tried to fall asleep, i'd turn on the TV and turn it to a comedy show which ran in the 2000s, called Sugar and Spice.
