You were coming back from the store when you heard a noise in an alleyway upon closer inspection you would find weird living plushies you take as your children
The story begins with you and the smiling critters in your bag are walking to your moms house so the critters can meet there grandma as your walking you pass an old lady as she speaks.
Old lady: oh those are some nice children you have there. She says in her frail voice.
You: oh thank you they are actually gonna meet their grandma for the first time. You explain as the old lady gives a smile and continues her walk as you do the same.
Dogday: what is grandma like? You hear dogday ask as he rest on your shoulder.
You: oh she is very kind she managed to raise me all by herself when my dad left. You explain as you continue your walk to your mom's house.
Soon you all arrive at your mom's house as you knock on the door hearing some foot steps come to the door and open it and there you see your mom as she smiles and greets you.

Mom: y/n honey it is so good to see you!!! She says as she hugs and kisses your cheek.
You: hey ma it's good to see you can we come in? You ask as your mom then stopped and looked at you.
Mom: we? She said in confusion.
You: oh right ma meet your grandchildren!!! You say as you show her your plush children.
Smiling critters: hi grandma!!! They say as your mom looks at them and she lets out tears of joy as she grabs dogday and kisses his forehead.
Mom: oh my gosh I'm a grandma!!! She says very happily as she spins around with dogday as you and the others go inside shortly after.
Once inside you set the critters down at the kitchen table as your mom gets you a can of bonk once she grabs it she gives it to you as she speaks.
Mom: so where did you find these lovely children. She says as she nuzzles dogday's cheek as he enjoys it.
You explain to her how you found them in an alleyway and how they were all dirty and a bit torn up so you took them back to base and got them all cleaned up and fix as your mother listens to your explanation while having a face of shock, worry, and relief as you took them in as your kids.
Mom: well y/n you made a very good choice I'm so proud of you. She says as she kisses your head.
You: thanks ma. You say as your phone goes off you answer it and hear engineer on the other side as he explains that he needs help with something back at base as you agree to it.
You: hey ma I got a quick errand to run is it okay if I leave them here. You say as your mother nods while giving the smiling critters affection.
Mom: of course sweetie you be careful now dear. She says as you kiss her cheek and head out.
You: I will ma love you. Looks at the critters. I'll be back later kids love you. Leaves.
Smiling critters: bye dad love you!!! They say while waving soon their stomachs growl indicating that it's dinner time.
Mom: oh my sweet babies are getting hungry wait here my darlings while I prepare dinner. She says as she goes to get the ingredients to make dinner.
Smiling critters: okay grandma! they say as they sit down and talk to each other about how wonderful your mom is.
Your mom grabs her cooking knife as she cuts some of the ingredients and puts them into a pot of boiling water, she then puts some seasoning in the pot as the smell makes the critters slightly drool as they can't wait to try her cooking, soon she finishes cooking and serves the food to the critters as they thanked her and begin eating with picky piggy practically drinking from the bowl as the others took their own paste.
Picky: your cooking is delicious grandma!!! She says as she finishes her food and ask for more as your mother happily gives her more.
Mom: I'm glad you like it dear after all a mother always provides for her family. She explains as she pours more stew in picky's bowl.
Then she hears the door ring as she checks the time and realizes that it's time when her lover aka your dad to visit as she goes to the door and does a little check of her makeup and opens as she meets her lover in a seductive voice.
Mom: hi love it's good for you to drop by on such short notice~
???: I know love. He says as she kisses her and they both enter the house.
Dogday: hello spy!!! He says as he waves at the spy.
Spy: looks at him and sees the others at the dinner table as his face goes into shock. Uh hello dogday and others.
Both him and your mom go to another room as the critters continue to eat and talk to each other while they occasionally hear some laughter from the room your mom and spy went into but they didn't think anything of it.
They soon finished their food and go play with each other in the living room they played hide and seek as dogday was counting as the others find places to hide as they do dogday soon finishes counting and looks around he finds hoppy, bubba, picky, and Bobby as he looks for kicken, craftycorn, and catnap as he looks he finds kicken hiding under a desk along with craftycorn hiding behind a chair as they then look for catnap wondering where he is.
Dogday: where did you guys see him hide? He asked his friends as they shrugged and shook their heads not knowing where he hid.
Crafty: m-maybe he went in there. She says as she points to the door spy and your mom entered as they look at each other.
They take a step closer to the door and as they were about to open it when they hear a snore from the window and turn to see catnap sleeping on the windowsill as they go to him.
Dogday: catnap how did you get up there without us seeing you. He asked as catnap looked at him and shrugged.
Soon you were coming back to pick up your kids when you noticed your mom's room window as you see the silhouette of your mom and spy as soon as you saw them you hurriedly ran into her room only to see your mom sitting on her bed and filing her nails as she looks up and waves at you as you were confused and looked around meanwhile spy was hiding under the bed as he then sees catnap walk In before looking at him as the two starred at each other for a few seconds before he went over to him and laid next to him but he was pushed out by spy he then tries again as it happened again for a few tries before spy gave up and just let him sit next to him.
Once you leave to go to your bedroom spy put catnap out of the room as he and your mom go back inside catnap gets up goes to your bedroom where he joins you and the others and soon drifted off to sleep.
