𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐓, waiting on Alyssa and Arianna to come out from their interviews. She had no clue on what had just happened in the room with Khavo but she knew it was embarrassing.

She felt her cheeks hot and her heart rate slowing back down from the high that she had got on from the anxiety.

She didn't expect the man to be like that all. She thought she could walk in the room and get all the answers to the questions she had and leave but she left feeling like she was going to have a tough time with him along with no questions being answered.

A haze of confusion and unsureness about the whole project. One day and she was having second thoughts about going back home.

The state of her dignity was very low and she felt humbled in some way. No man was ever able to shut her up. Most men would consider was hubris and disdainful, she carried to much pride and most men couldn't move her or her ego but Khavo...he had aurora that easily shook hers.

Not in a bad or threatful way but a condemning manner that took her off her high pedestal to let her know that she didn't run anything around her.

She played with her fingers before she etched a small smile across her face. Evidently, something sparked a small light in her stomach that was once in knots to being light and flowy. She somehow felt something she hadn't felt in a long time, a humbleness.

Khavo definitely put her in her place without any words having to be said and she liked it. She liked the feeling of being off her high horse and being below. She liked feeling...belittled. Everyone kissed the feet she walked on because of her attitude but for Khavo to not give her any answers to questions and leave her guessing. It gave her a mission.

"Nina." She looked up getting snatched out of her mind to see Alyssa and Arianna walking over to her. She stood up out of the flippable chair and grabbed her full green bottega tote bag that sat in the one beside her.

"How long you be sitting out here, suh?" Arianna questioned as they began to walk towards the exit. All of them carrying books and bags.

"Not long." She simply stated before turning towards the counter at the entrance of the prison's waiting room. She scanned her name tag that they had given the girls on their way in. "That shit took longer than I expected." Alyssa scanned her tag and then Arianna scanned hers.

"Girl, that nigga was annoying. His ass wouldn't shut up and all he did was work my nerve. The last one." Arianna rolled her eyes, walking behind Nina as they left out the building.

"Mines was slow. Act like he ain't know what I was talking about...Or maybe he was smart and was tryna play dumb cause them folks be recording in there." Alyssa shrugged hopping inside of the black truck. Nina followed behind lifting herself and inside and sitting her bag down one floor.

"How was yours, ne?" They both looked over at the girl who had gotten to quiet for their liking. "I don't know. I don't know how to feel or how to describe him."

Truth be told that was a lie in itself. The first step Nina took in there, the man captivated her mind. Nina knew off bat that Khavo had some type of attractiveness to him before actually showing her.

He was brownskin with light brown eyes, bob length dreads that almost reached his neck but not quite. He had two tattoos above each side of his eyebrows. Khavo carried extra weight on him but it fit him, she actually found that the most attractive thing on him. He looked pleasuring.

She couldn't shake it.

"Yeah, something wrong with them. This project already got me leaving clueless. Ion know if I wanna stay or go." Nina couldn't agree more with Arianna.

She felt the same way trying to get Khavo to answer questions but when she left, she felt the eager need to walk back in her tracks and back into the containment room that held the 21 yr old.

She couldn't help but wonder what led him to be in one of Memphis's maximum security prisons because he didn't look like a horrible guy.

The paper Ms. Lancing provided them with, only gave them so much information. Her wanting them to navigate by themselves.

This was going to be tough.
