"The university professor known as Malcolm, has brought 14 to life, this was due to him needing to pass information to his Homunculus. Malcolm's late night needs is what led us the get everything ready, late. at. night.... But, 14 being with us sooner than later is better. We have brought three of the Homunculi to life now, and already is project is tiring.
After ten seconds on the machine, we finally had 14 with us. When his head rose to meet us, the expression on his groggy face was that of annoyance, almost as if we had awakened him from a nap. Just like 20 however, 14 had struggled against his bindings. He didn't struggle for long because he had looked to us to release him, happy to in Malcolm's hands after his was out of the bindings.
The excitement of 14's arrival was brought to a halt when a tank drove over the shelter, causing the room to shake and causing Malcolm to drop poor 14 onto a book on the desk, hitting his head in the process. The three of us felt our hearts drop as it happened, believing that 14 was severely hurt. I saw Fala practically sprinted towards 14 as he sat up, rubbing his head. Poor thing nearly had a heart attack, even though they don't have hearts. After our young medic and tinkerer looked our newest addition over for any damage, which he thankfully didn't have, 14 was free to go and join his comrades.
Just as predicted; 14 has Malcolm's intelligence, A.K.A. his book smarts. 14 had read every book we have through the whole day (had me move the books around in alphabetical order), memorized every lock sequence Malcolm and Henry gave him, read through the entire copy of the journal Julius had given us, memorized every puzzle, and anything else I cannot think of at the moment.
He truly is a copy of his soul donor.
The other two seem to like him, though he's been keeping his distance from them; I wonder who he got that from. I was hoping he would warm up to the other two by curfew, but I proven wrong when Henry found all three Stitchpunks sleeping in separate areas of the desk. We've thought about giving a stone to 14, but when we tired to give him the Pyro stone, he brushed us off. It seems like we're going to give the Pyro to the next one.
Speak of who would be nexy, my oldest daughter, Masilda, has informed us that she would like to bring the next Homunculus to life at the crack of dawn. I'm scared for her, we've been lucky with not transferring our entire souls into one of these Homunculi, and we can't keep risking it. But, my daughter's like her brother; Both are frustratingly stubborn. 20 and 10's first meeting may not end well.
