It was a chilly night in Amsterdam, a thick fog had set in and white snow was falling from the sky above. Its icy blanket covering the streets and frosting car windows, with a sharp wind blowing down from the North.

Y/N was sitting on a barstool in a bustling pub, drinking the night away. It was 11:30pm on a Friday and the bar couldn't have been more full. The people around her were eating, chatting and dancing together to some sort of loud music blasting through some large speakers. The pub had an 1800s feel to it, with a double door entrance, a fancy polished oak bar with various types of alcohol on shelves behind it, and many polished wooden stools and tables scattered around the large room.

Y/N had come to the bar alone after she confronted her boyfriend about how he had cheated on her.. let's just say that didn't end well. Single and alone, Y/N decided to go drinking to wash away her sorrows. Every now and then a man would come and flirt with her to which she'd immediately shut down. One man in particular just wouldn't give up, the man eyed her for a while from a distance before confidently approaching her,

"Heyy gorgeous, what's your name?" The scruffy looking man standing before
Y/N asked. He had a black beanie on to cover whatever wiry hair he had underneath and a thick green jacket with a few stains on it. He had a beer in hand and was clearly a little drunk as he stumbled on the way over. Y/N furrowed her eyebrows and tilted her head. "Nnee dank je (no thanks), I have a.. boyfriend.." She chuckled, slurring her words. "Are you sure mooie dame (pretty lady), can I at least buy you a drink for the trouble?" The man smirked, stepping forward and placing his hand on top of hers. Y/N was too drunk to notice what the man was doing and cautiously agreed. "Ah.. ja I guess, dank je.."(thanks)

Y/N nervously played with the hem of her shirt as she waited for the drink when a group of people on the dance floor fell over and began laughing loudly behind her. She quickly spun around to see what the commotion was, facing away from the man next to her. While she was distracted, he took his chance and slipped a white power into her drink and mixed it with his pinky.

She spun back around and mumbled to herself, "Hope those people are ok.." The man heard and patted her hand, "They're fine love, here, have a drink." He said lowly, carefully pushing the drink towards her. She eyed it for a few seconds before cautiously picking up the glass and raising it to her lips. Y/N took in a mouthful, though a few minutes later.. all went black. Her head crashed against the bar with a loud thud, no one seemed to notice. There was no one with her.. but the man to her right.

As the wind picked up some more the soft snowfall quickly turned into white bullets, icy shards that felt like glass against your skin. Y/N's freezing body had begun to slow, her heartbeat gradually slowing as her breathing became shallow. Her eyes flickered as she began to pass out again. The bitter wind and snow engulfing her as the fog grew thicker and thicker, the icy wind biting at her red, freckled cheeks. She shuddered as she lost consciousness, everything went black.. she awoke to find herself cold and wet, her limbs felt numb and limp. Her vision was very blurry, her head even more, even so she could barely make out that she was being carried in the arms of a mysterious figure. That as well as an unfamiliar jacket wrapped around her small shoulders and the faint smell of cigarettes. Y/N could tell something was wrong but her body wouldn't allow her to move, she was trapped.

The storm had blown over hours ago, the street silent apart from the swooshing of the icy wind, the faint crunching of footsteps beneath her and heavy breathing coming from the figure carrying her.

Y/N was slipping in and out of consciousness, she could faintly hear the concern in the man's voice talking to her as he sped walked down the snow covered sidewalk."Ben je oke? Missen? Missen?!" (Are you ok? Miss? Miss?!) He nervously said, silently freaking out. The man held
Y/N tightly, shivering profusely without his jacket to keep him warm. Y/N could feel the man picking up pace as he walked as fast as anyone could carrying a full grown adult. "Neuken.. Neuken.. Neuken.." (fuck.. fuck.. fuck..) He whispered to himself, attempting to find his small car in the foggy night. The man's head was whipping left and right, his eyes darting between every car in his line of sight.

"Stunje!! Apson!" The man loudly called out into the cold night air, his breath lingering in front of him. "Waar ben je man?!" (Where are you man?!) The man was panicked now, unsure whether he'd be able to warm this girl up in time.

"Heyy man-" Stunje suddenly said, walking around from behind a small silver car, a wide smile on his face. It dropped as soon as he saw his friend struggling to carry a half frozen girl in his arms.
(Wauw, gaat het met haar?" (Wow, is she ok?) He abruptly stopped and looked up, a panicked expression on his face. "Auto.. nu" (Car.. now) He managed to get out, out of breath.

She was finally placed in the back of a warm car after being in the cold for hours on end, her skin's feeling slowly began to come back and her body finally stopped shivering. Y/N could faintly hear a muffled conversation from the front seat, they were talking about her. "Er ligt een dood meisje in mijn auto.. waarom?!" (There's a dead girl in my car.. why?!) The man in the drivers seat raised his voice, throwing his arms in the air. "Ze ademt, idioot.. ik denk-" (She's breathing you idiot.. I think-) The man in the passenger seat replied, unsure. In the dark car she could barely make out what the men looked like, "They don't sound.. like bad people.." She thought to herself as she glanced to her right. She suddenly noticed a man sitting next to her that she somehow didn't notice before. His left arm wrapped around her shoulders and his right hand tightly held onto her right arm. He was facing forwards and didn't notice Y/N staring at him. "Je bent nu veilig..honey" (You're safe now..honey) He whispered to her. Y/N smiled as her eyes began to droop, her body becoming comfortable and warm. Her head falling onto the stranger's shoulder as she fell asleep.
