(ARGENTI'S VA IS CHANGED WHAT I WAS BUILDING HIM FOR BOOTHILL HOYO anyways when I took a drive I went over a curb when taking a U turn in the streets I'm surprisingly more embarrassed than frightened 💀 and now I have a third lesson. Going down town!)
THAT MAN BETTER BE JOKING! IVE GOT A DOG AND KID WITH ME! DO I LOOK LIKE A PERSON WHO HAS THE TIME TO DATE LET ALONE WITH A GALAXY RANGER WHO TRAVELS THE WORLD?!
(Yes)
NO I DONT- I DONT KNOW WHAT TO FEEL ANYMORE.
(Wait what-)
I mean what he said may just be him bluffing, you thought. After that little unnecessary practice, Boothill took you guys back to the construction, allowing the workers to take a break. He lead you guys to the inside of your soon-to-be newly ship.
You check your bedroom, bathroom and storage room. The storage room was the best because it was bigger than the one you had before.
Clementine and Niay jumped on their bed, screaming in joy.
You looked at the control room and analyzed every single button. Magnificent, you thought.
Yes you found it wonderful. But... you were a little disappointed. And Boothill saw it once he walked into the same room as you.
He frowned, inching closer to you, "What's wrong, sugar?" It seemed like he wanted to hold your cheek, seeing as his hand was slightly below your chin. His eyes were filled with concern and curiosity, "Want me to change something in here? I'll get it done right away,"
You looked at him and immediately shook your head, "No! No... it's- all of is great. There's... no need to change anything," you sighed and looked away.
You've known this man for only just a few days. And somehow, he's making you feel fuzzy. You'd ask Kema for advice as she's an elder but... Yeah, she's probably going to tell me about her past exes and how much she was a whore, you thought as you remember she did bring it up.
"Oh don't frown..." you heard Boothill mutter.
You furrowed your brows, "What?" You looked at him again.
He pointed to your face, "You're better smiling, gorgeous," he smirked, "Now tell me. If it's not the ship then what is it?" His voice was soft, even if you still heard the scruff in it.
You were too embarrassed to say it. You wanted to leave and go as your work as usual but... you wanted Boothill. But you also wanted to keep your family safe. Family first, you thought.
"It's nothing," you shook your head, "Um just- headache that's all," you lied.
His eyebrows furrowed and he hummed, "well this gives you the chance to sit on your new chair!" he gently grabs your arms and ushered you to sit down. You obeyed his words and sat down to not further the other conversation, "comfy ya?"
You hummed and chuckled, "Uh yes it is," you nodded and then realized, "Woah yes it is," you could even consider this a bed. You sighed in relief and sunk yourself further into the chair.
Boothill chuckled at your relaxed face, patting your head before bending down to peck a kiss on your forehead quickly, "I'll check on the others," he walked away with a goofy smile on his face.
"Okay," you said. Wait what- Your eyes widened when you realized his sweet gesture. You touched your forehead, "Oh no," you groaned and sighed. You can't be in love with this man.
Even worse does he even love you? Now you weren't relaxed, you were paranoid and anxious. It caused your leg to bounce aggressively.
It's okay, I can get over things quickly. Oh but then what about Clementine?! She loves him like she should! Like a daughter loving her father. She'll be more heartbroken.
"Alright folks we gotta go. The guys' break is almost over," you heard Boothill from the bedroom.
"Aww already?" You could hear the pout in Clementine's voice, "5 more minutes? This episode of Daniel Tiger is almost done. Please?" (Yeah idk watch Barney if you want)
Boothill laughed, he couldn't resist, "Alright, just five," he signals with his hand.
"Yay!" And so did Naiy bark with her.
You heard Boothill walk to the same room as you, sitting on the chair beside you, "She really loves this place. She wanted to stay here longer," he joked.
Damn right she does, you thought. Oh what to do. Eh, I'll just get over it like my ex did to me... BUT BOOTHILL IS SO-

You sat at the balcony, while Clementine and Boothill played the guitar together. You needed to clear your head. Maybe some alcohol would help but you're very much a lightweight and would probably end up in a trash can the next day.
"When is our ship going to be done, Boothill?" Clementine asked, playing with the string of her guitar.
Boothill hummed, puckering up his lips, "Probably by tomorrow morning. And then you, Niay and your mother are off to space!" He pointed to the ceiling and smiled, "You ready to set off, kid?"
Clementine furrowed her brows and pouted, "But... what about you?"
Boothill gave her a sorrowful smile, "A galaxy ranger has places to be and go kid," even if he knew that his daughter alive, there was still so much to do. The IPC. And especially the Stonehearts.
Boothill knew that some of the Stonehearts were still young, they probably take Clementine away from him the second time. They would consider her a Stonehearts if she develops more powers, said you when you spoke to him.
"What if I ask my mom? She likes you!" Clementine beamed, "She blushes when around you," okay who told you that?!
"Aw does she?" Boothill chuckled, "But really kid, no that's okay. Your mom and I have separate jobs that'll keep us away. You'll understand when you're older," he patted her head.
"But don't you love her?"
"I... um," Boothill cleared his throat, "Well I do have a small thing for her at the moment," he rubbed the back of his neck. His ears were red.
"Would you marry her?"
"Ye- What?! Uh- No! I mean-,"
"So you would!"
"Clementine..." Boothill sighed, "You know marrying her would probably make me your dad. Are you sure you want that?"
Clementine hummed and looked at the ceiling, "Well yeah... I had a dream I was calling you dad. Mom wasn't in there though," she played with her fingers this time, "We were in the meadows, playing this way bigger guitar. And hey! You didn't have your robot body! And these other people were there too. I remember you calling them Nick and Gray. It was a fun dream... I wish mom was there though, I wanted to see her smile too,"
To Boothill, her dream was his reality. A memory that happened long ago. In the meadows. With a guitar. With his parents. With his daughter.
And in the back of his mind, he hoped that the next memory was with you too.
