Chapter 2 - Start

Free period nila sa first 2 hours, but may biglaang meeting si Ms Delos Reyes para sa org members kaya maaga sila lahat pumasok.

"Madapa sana yun today." Jessy said habang nagpupunas pa din ng nabasang damit niya.

"Hala si anteh, kalmahan mo aga pa" Sabi ni Princess na matawa tawa naman sa reaction ni Jessy

"Maybe she's in a hurry din. Hayaan mo na." Ava answered while offering more tissue for Jessy

"Si Ate Ava lang talaga nagiisang anghel sating mga demunyu" Sam said.

"Ay wow ako na nga natapunan ng drinks ako pa demunyu?"

"Teh kakawish mo lang na madapa siya today paalala ko lang sayo." Princess and Sam ended up laughing after Jessy rolled her eyes.

Ms. Delos Reyes walks in the room to start their org meeting. Usually nagpapameeting lang naman siya kapag may announcement, or may updates about events.

"As you all know, malapit na intercollegiate league. So our student atheletes will be extra busy. I have discussed with the Deans and Coaches of our teams that we are going to start a program that will help support our student athletes academically kahit madagdagan ang hours ng training nila if needed. I will be assigning you each for a peer tutoring session, all schedules will also be given to you, including contact numbers of your tutee, and you can start discussing with them kelan sessions niyo and submit it to me after, kasi your attendance will be checked. Let me remind you na tutoring classes ito ha, we are offering help, pero hindi niyo gagawin yung school works nila."

Tutor? Bakit need i-tutor? Di pala nila mabalance edi wag sila maglaro. Jessy thought.

She understands naman na need ng help ng athletes, it's just that irita siya kasi nakaduffle bug at school varsity jacket yung nakabangga sa kanya, so most likely athelete din siya.

After the brief announcement, they all started walking to the cafeteria. May 45mins pa sila para tumambay kaya kakain muna daw sila. Si Ava hindi na sumama kasi aayusin na nila ni Ms. Delos Reyes yung assignments for the peer sessions.

"Ay excited ako sa mapapartner sakin." Sam said.

"Bakit?" Princess and Jessy gave her a confused look.

"Wala challenging kaya! Sana lang matino kausap mapupunta sakin haha"

"Matino kausap pero mayabang" Jessy commented

"Ay may galit si ante sa varsity players" Princess teased.

"Tingin ko varsity player nakabangga sakin kanina eh. "

"Move on na kasi. Magpalit ka na lang pagbalik ni Ate Ava. May gusto ka bang food? Kami na ni Sam bibili, baka mawalan tayo seat eh"

Jessy gave her order and sat down at the table just outside the cafeteria. May parang veranda style kasi sa labas kaya may extra tables.

Jessy was browsing thru her list of subjects when she notices a shadow standing infront of her.

Paglingon niya, a long haired girl, in a varsity jacket with white shirt inside, is standing infront of her.

When their eyes met, the girl frowned.

"Dugyot mo naman wala ka bang ibang damit?" The girl said.

Jessy, obviously annoyed, and was surprised with the comment said "Excuse me?! Ano??"

"Ikaw si Jessy diba. Sayo ko assigned sa peer sessions." The girl said while throwing the envelope to the table.

"San mo naman nakuha yan e wala pa nga assignments?"

"Don't you know me? I have my resources."

Jessy was clearly annoyed sa kausap niya.

Grabe talaga yabang neto. Kala mo kung sino. She thought.

Kilala niya ba yung babaeng nasa harap niya? Yes definitely.

She's the team captain of their basketball team. Kilala siya ng lahat, bilang varsity player, and player ng babae. Halos lahat ata, mapa babae o lalaki sa campus may crush sa kanya.

She's Cali Vergara.

And it turns out. Siya din ata yung nakabangga sa kanya this morning.
